I think this is ridiculous and not something to be laughed about or promoted. There are already enough issues with predators preying on little girls and teenagers- why are we continually forcing them to grow up faster than necessary? Allowing little girls to engage in the kind of pursuits that are normally reserved for adult women can give them the false impression that they’re more sophisticated and mature than they really are. This is can make them vulnerable to predators, especially those that are online. And…products that contain active ingredients like retinols, vitamin c, niacinamide and others can cause irritation and barrier loss on a child’s skin. This will cause inflammation which over time is one of the main causes of premature skin aging.
When I was a tween I used nuetrogena soap and Vaseline intensive care lotion. As I got older into my late teens, I started reading haircare magazines with skin care articles in them. In my 20’s I was using anti wrinkle creams and started using skincare products over makeup products, I wanted to look like I’m wearing makeup on. Now I’m in my mid 40s and I still keep a healthy skin regimen. I get told I look younger than my age. Thank God for skincare products and I’m glad I started very young.
