I put a Akra Carbon on my 2022 MT-09. Coated the inside of the header and link pipe with a silicone ceramic coating to help with heat control and discoloring. Butt plug fell out of my can. It's a good exhaust and not to loud.
@@wheelsworldwide6622 This just popped up in my feed. Once it's out of warranty it will get a flash. I was going to cam and port the head and have a complete dyno tune done on it. But since getting my hands on a head for inspection it would be a waste of money and time. The CP3 is a true POS Eurotrash5 engine so the head is junk much like the heads on my Goldwing. So it's only worth flashing.
Man I can't wait. Put a deposit on a 2023 Matte Raven Black MT09 yesterday. I'm taking possession of it weekend of 4/28/23. Come on man 1 week. I can do it. Ughh

I'll be adding a Akropovic full exhaust system probably some time in June. I'm currently following the engine break in recommendation. Kind of boring but at least I have some cornering clearance now over the Iron 1200.
Hi mate, No at the time the bike wasnt flashed. I did ride the bike for at least 6000km before i did the Flash. So there is No worrys. I mae run a bit ritch but No worrys. I only Flash the bike to unlook its full power! And smoother ride. Thanks for watching mate ❤️
Hi Its probably because of the new environment law. Like in EU bikes have new restrictions when it comes to emissions. but with the right ecu flash it will definitely Shoot Flames 😁🤙🔥 Thanks for watching mate
It's sounds great and looks good. For me though when I get my bike next year I prefer the stock exhaust. I like the stock under design of it because I always burn my leg with the exhaust with that style with my old bike when I'm wearing shorts riding in the summer time that's why I getting the MT. I hope I get my bike in August of next year when the weather is still piping hot. If not I'm going to have to wait all the way to October, or November. Where I live the weather is decent someday, and than freaking freezing cold the next in those months. The reason why I have to wait so stinking long is that I called my local dealership, and they wanted more out the door what I expected in my savings. I just want to get my bike with no note payments. If I can't get my bike at my local dealership on August, and I can't get it anywhere else like out of the next neighboring state for a fair price than I have to wait to those months. I know it's longer wait, and it's killing me not to ride, but I don't want any help from any other like family since they're trying to talk me out of getting a bike again. I want to work for it, and get it for me! I don't care for them cuz this is my passion, I love riding. When I do get my bike. I plan in taking out the rear horrendous end lights for a integrated signal lights, and tail tidy. I also going to invest in impactek crash guards for my bike so if I do drop it, and I know I'm going to. I don't have to worry about damages on it. I also want wind shield, and some side mirrors like yours. Out of all that....................That's it! Oh! I forgot. Since I don't have a garage. I want to get a portable shed for my backyard so I can park my new bike in it, and don't have to worry about the weather beating it down when I'm not riding it, if I can afford it, but if I can't than I'm just going to get rid of my old riding lawn mower, and all the junk that's in my little shed, and use that for my bike storage, and parking. I got it in the corner of my yard right meow. I may have to pay someone to move it close to the gate so I don't have to go in to deep parking my bike. My backyard have rough turanes uneven land. I don't really want to go into to deep with my bike in my backyard. I really want to baby my new bike when I get it. I just wish I can get right meow, but I just can't so I have to wait. Love your bike dude. I don't know if I'm going to get the SP version though. I don't really mind getting the basic one as long as I get my MT09.

I tried an aftermarket exhaust, a Mivv. Pretty much a straight through racing pipe. Looked good but way too loud for me. Within a week I put the stock exhaust back on preferring the quieter sound, better fueling (the Mivv was popping a lot on decel) and the stereo sound from the stock exhaust. Bar end mirrors I tried and although I could live with less vision any bar end mirror will vibrate a lot and when i'm having fun I like to see if Mr Blue is behind me. Windscreen tried a few but settled on MRA, pricy but quality (won't flex in the wind like some) and gets the wind off your belly. Other mods I recommend, radiator guard, crash/slide protection, paddock stand bobbins, USB port and heated grips.
after talking to Yamaha Center that dose mapping here in sweden, they told me that if you bay a high Q exhaust like akrapovic that is made for the bike you dont have to do that :)

Hi, a silly question. Did you Flash ECU? Or is it necessary to do it? I really don't want to do that so does it damage the bike if you don't flash it?
