Have you done videos about vocals? Maybe i missed that but im at the point where i wanna start using vocals in my producing and i almost dont know anything about it. Where do i find great free and premium vocals for EDM? How do i process these and make them fit a track? Keep up your great work, you surely have helped me a lot!
Have you tried any of the Tokyo Dawn Labs plugins? Nova, Kotelnikov, Slick EQ and others. I really love those, got myself the Gentleman's Edition of all of them. Also, kilohearts subscription. Their plugins are awesome, too.
Just in case you didn't know about kilohearts, you may want to look into Multipass and Snap Heap (aside from the obvious Phase Plant.) Not going to spoil it for you, but you'll love those :)
Hi Will. Thank you for consistently providing great videos! I would really enjoy a video on LUFS levels. If you have time that would be awesome! Cheers!
It's important that you learn what tools your DAW already has before you start purchasing plugins. This is especially important when you have the top of the line version of the DAW, like Ableton Suite, for example. It's very easy to get caught up in the "shortcut" plugins and "one button solutions", then be in a hardship when you don't have access to them.
Wow this was very thorough. Thanks for providing all the links in the comments as well. Sound editing is not my forte but, I definitely refer to this video again if I ever want a stab at it. Liked and subscribed! Looking forward to your next video!
I recently started using Ableton Live. When I bought Intro, I didn't think it wouldn't include things like pitch and frequency shifting (as it was available in the trial version) and I'm looking for a vst that I could use to replace that. Is there a plugin like that for Live Intro? Or would I have to upgrade to another tier to access tools like that?
If u try phase plant i think u ll foget serum and other similiar syntethizer. It can be difficult to use the first time, but after is so easy and overall very flexible respect serum and similar, overall furnished with many plug in to integrate in the synth and in the platform as ableton. The only gap that has a strange sequencer/arpegiator not so powerfull as ana2 or better synthmaster one. Try to get a look, u ll be in love 😁
Hi, thank u for this video. I have a problem, u know where I can get nice long singing female voices? I use loopcloud but found only short voice loops, or I search wrong? thank u
In addition to my other comment, I'm using ShaperBox 2's volume module instead of LFO tool. Think globally, buy locally, I guess. (They're based in my home town Hamburg, Germany ;)
Enjoyed tue plug ins, as i enjoy all your vids. This one suffers a bit from feeling rushed. The pc audio stuttering and not really showing what each plug in can do. A small section of that track with a plug in on each you could demo and bypass to show each track and then the whole with and without
The stuttering makes me think you should sell your Mac and buy an AMD Ryzen based PC with the money (build one yourself as it's pretty easy). Unless you need a Mac for Logic or whatever. Lots of studios moving over to PCs apparently these days.
In this video I go through my top 10 VST plugins for 2020. What are your thoughts!!? Let me know in the comments 👇

@@maju4231 No, I haven't! But it's coming this month :) Thanks for the support
Maybe do tips to reduce CPU usage? Because I noticed some CPU overload in your video
Now THAT is a good idea!
@@EDMTips Would an example be something like freezing tracks?

Absolutely! I'd be interested in watching a review video.

The TDR stuff is really terrific and even the free versions are feature packed. Good suggestion!
Awesome! Thanks for the heads-up 😎👌
A video on LUF's would be great! There are so many people who don't understand them!

Hi Henry....you're welcome! Thanks for the support. I'll make one on LUFS levels :)

Indeed! I fully agree with this. It's easy to get "shiny object syndrome", when you have so much potential with stock plugins
Super well explained! Well done! 🙌
Thanks very much! 😎
I get Oxford Inflator but not shows in Ableton i make a rescan and nothing. Please help me!Thank you!
What are LUFS?

Nice review. The only other limiter I found that allows you to get as loud as Pro L2 is the wall by Boz Digital.
Cool! I'll try it out :)

Where is OTT? also T-Force is cool but it's just free alternative to Sylenth1 to me so... Anyways nice video!
I rarely use OTT, but it is indeed dope
So helpful thanks!
You're welcome!
where the best place to get loops and sounds
There are a few places: ADSR sounds, Splice.com and Loopmasters are good starting points
Hey Will! Great video again! I have the valhalla vintage verb and its really nice, but whats different from the room verb? Which one is the best?
They just sound slightly different - both are great. Vintage is has more colour and tonal character...Room is cleaner
Hi, thank u for this video. I have a problem, u know where I can get nice long singing female voices? I use loopcloud but found only short voice loops, or I search wrong? thank u
Try Splice.com
