👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻Wow! This video has so many delicious looking recipes that I don’t know which to prepare first! Ok. I’m starting with the bread. I know my grandson will love it.
Aren't there just! I hit subscribe before I'd finished watching the first video and it's all so very practical. Superb channel, great presenter. See you in these comments down the road sometime.🙂
Dear George, This video is one of my favourites now. Thank you very much! I'm going to make your quinoa bread right now for breakfast tomorrow. By the way, quinoa flour is another great way to add this superfood to your diet. Just put some quinoa in a food processor and blitz for a few seconds. You can make lovely pancakes out of it.
Hi Alina, glad to hear! You're very welcome. The quinoa bread is one of my favourites. ooh I'll have to give that a go. I've got quite a powerful blender so that should work well.
I absolutely love the ideas! I’m a type 1 diabetic and use only quinoa instead of rice. Quinoa is much more forgiving on my blood sugars - very little spikes. Since I live in a small apartment, I just buy this one grain in bulk and use the most. (And yes, I do realize quinoa is a seed. 😂) Anyway, thanks for some different ideas!
Well, as a lover of quinoa I'm blown away by all these options 😊 I think I'll try the potato cakes first, substituting sweet potato for the extra polyphenols. And I'll definitely keep the skins in! 👍 I am also intrigued by the porridge idea, as we have overnight oats every day for breakfast - and as for the bread, wow! That looks awesome 👌 Thanks, George, inspiring as always!
Oh perfect, sweet potato will work great 😋 Definitely give it a go, I’ve been having overnight oats for a while so it’s nice to have a change! Always a pleasure, love making these videos and makes it even better if they inspire your cooking 😊
All your recipes look so delicious and the salad was beautiful. I can't wait to make the cookies. You compared the cookies to granola cookies and I've never made that kind of cookies before. But the highlight of the video - for me - was the porridge. It made me think of my grandparents who died many years ago. My grandmother would often make different kinds of porridge. I haven't thought about it for many years, but now I have to make some of those porridges myself, and then I will use your ideas for topping. My favourite must be the apple compote, because it's simple to make, yet so delicious - and I have never thought about apple compote on top of porridge. Thank you for taking me back so many years. 😀
Thank you! The cookies are lovely, I've been having them as a pre-run snack. Aww sorry to hear about your grandparents but hopefully I've brought back some fond memories of them. Apple compote is lovely on porridge, I tend to not add too much sugar to it so it's nice and sour :)
Everything looks delicious. Now I will have more ways to use my quinoa. I cook quinoa but never use it to make porridge. Also, the bread, I will sure make it. Thanks for those recipes
@@EarthyGoodnessKitchen Yeah, Kirkland is a suburb of Seattle. I believe that's where the first Costco was, hence the "kirkland signature". Just surprised to see it in the UK, it's a very American type store lol

Aha too much choice! Lovely, hope he enjoys it 😊
@@EarthyGoodnessKitchenGeorge where do you buy your quinoa & miso?
Just from the supermarket. Sometimes I get quinoa from a website called buy wholefoods online and miso from the Asian supermarket
My man! That bread just blew my mind. Can it be that simple? Wow. Thank you a lot!
Aha it’s definitely can! Just don’t be tempted to take it out early or it’ll fall apart 😁 my pleasure

The last two recipes are my favourite ones! 😍😋 Thanks for the wonderful culinary inspiration.
You’re welcome, happy cooking! 😁

Thank you so much for all the delicious quinoa recipes. I have just made the bread and I love it! And it really is so easy to make. 💚🌱
You’re so welcome! I’m so pleased to hear that, simple but delicious 🍞 💚
Amazing recipes!
Thanks Amanda 😀
that green pot is absoluety beautiful. where did you get it?
It's a le cruset set from the early 1990's so it might be hard to find! I'm sure they do some nice ones now :)
Rinse rinse rinse your quinoa before cooking. In Australia it often needs this or it's bitter.
Oh yes I usually do but forgot for the quinoa porridge although didn’t notice a different in taste
Hi, I love the chocolate porridge, I'm interested in making the bread, however, my tummy cannot handle oats, what can I replace the oats with?
I’m not sure it’ll work without the oats. You
could try with only quinoa but I can’t guarantee it’ll work :)
If quinoa is good, fonio is better. Saw a lovely TED talk on Africa's forgotten grain and how it's making a comeback.
Oh yeah, I don't think I've used fonio. I'll have a watch of the TED talk.

Yes i think we do but I've never been! Oh yeah is that in America?

i cant digest quinoa🥲
Ahh I have that issue sometimes as well. I find making sure it's fully cooked and properly chewing it helps :)
