FYI There is NO such thing as a 1941 Dodge "Power wagon " What you have in this video is a 1941 WC11 or WC12 1/2 Ton 4x4 Army truck .The Cab on this truck is NOT Original
it looks like its a Chevy or GMC cab from the 1950s . Dodge Power wagons werent given that name until 1946 . And They were all civilian Trucks .
    I personally own 2 Power Wagons and 2 WC dodges myself . : ))
    Great video however : ))

I know. It's a wc-6 command car with a 49 chevy cab. The only reason I called it a powerwagon is because it looks a lot like them since dodge used there military styling to please the veterans coming out of WW2. The chevy cab was added on by a farmer in the late 50's from what I understand. When they did the cab swap they also made some makeshift overload springs and added dual wheels. That's why it has duals on one side. I guess I called it a Powerwagon for familiarity sake. Sorry if I mislead you.

Yea, most of those WCs were open cabs and people stuck all kinds of closed cabs on them after the war, first I’ve seen with a Chevy. She’ll be an interesting ride! Follow my channel for my 1950 real Power Wagon restoration 😉
