Nuno's adorable when he tells the story about his hand injury and the medical lesson. There is another video of him doing a guitar promo in Brazil, it shows him taking a pic with fans, one by one. He was sooooooo courteous to each one of them. He has kept his genuinly lovely personality after all these years. He is truly a class act!

What a great interview. Nuno is a very sharp & honest guy.
I think the reason I like Nuno so much (aside from his incredible talent and musicianship, of course) is the fact that he understand the music industry and being true to one's self. He "gets" it. He's not in the game just to give people what they wanna hear, like the "fast food" music he talks about; its all about being himself and putting some real substance into music. Fame is so cliched these days. They may not be the hugest band out there, but they're one of the best. Kudos to ya, Nuno.

I was so, so crazy about Extreme back then, but at the time I had so little access to anything about them other than the music and the odd magazine article. I was 9/10 years old and Nuno was the most exotic, most beautiful boy I had ever seen. It's so awesome to be able to watch these interviews now; it makes the music more meaningful to hear his thoughts on things, to know how articulate and charismatic he is. Thank you for posting all this stuff :)

Wow. Just wow. I've listened to Extreme a lot when I was a kid but never really knew what the band looked like since it was much prior to internet era. Recently the band I'm singing in decided to do a cover of More Than Words, so I did some search just to know the band better, and you know what... I'm mesmerized, I'm in love with this person. I've played in local bands for 15 years and I thought I knew all the cool guitarists out there but.. how come I didn't know about this guy before? I think he's the most underrated. Talented, courteous, calm, Extreme-ly beautiful... beyond perfection.

I think this video was done in 1992, just before Three Sides album was released if I'm understanding well (hard to understand for me, I'm French !) and despite of his young age, he was already so talented ! This guy deserves all good things in life.

part 2 : Even now, with a few more years (I wouldn't want to be rude Nuno :-p), he has never lost one part of what he was at the time. Truly, he was, is and will always be the best musician of the planet, with all the passion, heart, and soul that he puts in his guitar playing, his singing or all he does. I wish I could have the honor to meet him one day...

When I show pics of him to some of my friends, they say, "I don't get it; don't see it." Love my friends, but they are blind! Oh, well. All is perception. Because of where I work, I deal with a lot of musicians, and because of security and privacy issues, they have to prove who they are. He's had to show me his drivers license a few times to me even though I know who he is (and adore him).
Hmm i remember he tried to take my gf home in 1991 bristol bierkeller u.k on the pornograffiti tour he said some very vulgar things to her she was not impressed. He was my guitar hero at the time. I was so disappointed. I had tried to speak to him earlier while he was watching Saigon Kick ( support act) and he ignored me. So....never really taken to him, although i loved their music.
