I have some chicken feet in my freezer, Imma make this tomorrow for dinner 🤷🏾♀️ Im black but i make amazing Spanish food. I grew up in a Puerto Rican hosue. My bbf is P.r and they taught me how to cook at 10yo, I make my own sofrito and everything. Making this with some white rice and pink beans 🤷🏾♀️💯❣️👍🏾
I just want to clarify because I’m seeing a lot of people commenting on the American not washing their meats comment. It is pure ignorance of us Dominicans, but im just speaking off cultural fact. In the Dominican Republic, whenever somebody talks about “Americans”, we are not referring to the nation as a whole (again, ignorant, i know), but we are specifically referring to white people (you might also hear us say gringo…again, white people…no offense to my white ppl). Just wanted to clear that up. We know our melanin brothers and sisters WASH that meat.
So as a “American” right you say we don’t wash meat” we do, I DO” but how is it ok for her to touch the food then dig in the sugar with the same glove????! Just ewww gross! LoL
@@Naturellona Exactly. I do believe it was a blatant lie🤥 She knows damn well.. She could've left that part out or she could've just been truthful and said white people.

That brown stew chicken lookin good sis!😩🇩🇴 I thought every Dominican used the sugar method to brown their chicken but I’ve seen Dominicans that don’t 😮
I'm making it just like this Thursday. I wish I could have seen your finished rice in the pot. Do you discard the onion bell pepper and cilantro or do you serve it as well? Can I cut the bell pepper and onion and cilantro before I add the rice and beans?
It's Sofrito which consists of cilantro, culantro, bell peppers (she did green and yellow, but you can do red and green, or even cubanelle peppers), sweet peppers (optional), oregano, onion (you can do red or white), garlic, and apparently tomato, but she didn't mention it.
I know this is an older video but it's my first time seeing it,I am American, and I definitely cleanmy chicken and many American do.You have people from all backgrounds who do not clean their chicken.I am not one of those people so please do not generalize about Americans.
