  • Full version of the recent Fuzz Guitars demo for MLC Academy using a Fender Telebration Oreo Telecaster.
I'm using a Boss DD5 at various points during this demo to create the "chasing" sound or "timed delay" effect for the solo sections. This means that DD5 is creating the notes in between the picked ones in rhythm of the solo.
Set the delay time to approx 330 ms. It takes a little time to get used to the technique and to create this effect but keep your lines clean and your tempo accurate and your away.
Remember - You need just one delay to come back at you and your delay part needs to be the same volume as the initial note.
Try and play your licks with a staccato feel. You can either palm mute or release pressure of the left hand slightly.
Using it at approx 0:05 and again at 0:48 seconds and again at 1:04 and kick it out at 1:30.

You need to ham up your faces more. Playing guitar well is one thing, playing well whilst grimacing. Thats where its at.
