Everyone has their preferences when it comes to reborns. Some like mohair, some prefer painted hair or human hair. Some like a lot of mottling & lil flaws/scratches/milk bumps, some only want minimal mottling & none of the other. That said, I think she's a lovely reborn & what red tones I see are appropriately placed to make her look alive. I don't see an issue. Could be it's not showing up on the video too. I know while each reborn I adopted looked amazing in their photos ect, it was nothing like reality in which they were breath taking. That said, I'd not be in a rush to sell. Set her up cute for display & let her settle in for a while. You might be surprised at what happens. I adopted a reborn several years ago that for multiple reasons I just wasn't thrilled with. No biggie as I also didn't pay much for it. I intended to fix him & sell him. I never got around to it. Strange enough, lately I happen to think he's quite cute. He still needs a few fixes, but nothing major. I've grown attached to the lil bugger. lol
What a beautiful box opening! So many beautiful clothes and she is gorgeous!! I think the artists lighting and or the communication should have been better. Everyone’s interpretation of a newborn red a d purple color skin tone is not the same and every artist has their style. It is sad that you don’t love her and you have every right to as you paid for. Years ago I received a baby I wasn’t happy about. Sometimes it just happens. I wasn’t happy with my dolls colors either. I sold her and the person who bought her from me was so happy and loved her. So it all comes down to personal preference in the end. Maybe you’ll grow to love her ❤️

All I know is that stuff she gave you in that box opening of us awesome! I haven't seen the baby yet and the baby is what counts more than anything but the clothes are totally the bomb! She has good taste in clothes!

I understand where the video maker is upset. While the reddish pink was meant to accent certain features, it almost looks like the doll has rosacea or high blood pressure. It’s too much accenting and not enough blending. But like everyone has been saying different people have different preferences, another side to the problem is, that not every doll comes out exactly like the previous one. Since these are individually made artistic pieces, someone asking for the same doll can get to completely different representations. I’m sorry you were disappointed in the paint job, though I completely understand why.
Some people are just never satisfied if you want a perfect baby that fits you… by all means you should have your own but seriously this is a doll! And was the prettiest doll I’ve seen in a while perfect! And the box opening was amazing even if pre-owned clothes! I wish half of the sellers that I bump into where this generous I think she’s just being picky!

My personal preference is NOT newborn look, she (the seller) didn’t tell me that she was red toned even after I asked her. So that’s why the disappointment

I honestly thot that ure reborn doll is beautiful n I juz can’t understand why u felt so disappointed when I looked at her face …I think she’s so adorably cute n beautiful…those lips are so adorable. I respect n understand we all have personal preferences but I must say, this artists did a great job actually. I am still a student for reborn making n I understand how these precious fragile special babies are n they’re not that common n so EZ to make coz they’re so priceless n precious close to real lifelike babies. I have one reborn girl n one full body silicone baby boy myself n I love them both…very happy indeed n blessed to have them part of me now. Be contented n happy for wot u have bought coz she is truly adorably cute n beautiful…not all can get these special babies coz they’re very expensive ones. Please let me start by saying... I purchased this reborn based on the pictures, the reality was not what I expected her to be. It’s like you asking for a cup of black coffee and your given a cup of black tea. Her hair was beautiful but the colouring of her skin tone was not to my taste. She was not a cheap reborn. I now say I have the baby that I love. Thank you for watching :)

So sorry. I can see the red as well. The money it takes to buy these dolls, one should be able to get the skin tone that is reflected in the sellers photo’s. I know computer screens show off different shades but the seller should of explained that her coloring was red. If you paid by way of paypal you can state that the color is not as it reflects in photo’ s and request a return and refund. Nothing worse than having your hopes up and then being let down when you see the doll in person.

That is not my personal preference of colouring. I wasn’t informed that was her colouring. So when I opened the box I was shocked. None of my collection is red. TFW

It was worth every penny spent. $879+50 shipping total was $929. Took about 3 months. Tina aka ( Teeniesbabies ) from Etsy was really good. My doll is now 2 years old and still looks amazing. I named her Diamond and she weighs 8 lbs.

Trust me when I say the camera doesn’t show her real colour. The artist did a wonderful job if you like your baby to be red, alas I do not like this and would NOT have purchased her if I had seen the true colouring.

Awhhhh. I hope u come to love her. I think she is lovely. That newborn red is quite popular. I got some dolls w a strong cinnamon skintone & was shocked w them in person. Now I love it & now have 4 dolls from that artist!
I can truthfully say I will never like the way that she is painted. I like true skin tone. None of my babies were red, and one was born at 29 weeks. The red to me just looks angry. TFW
'She' is class. However she looks like my baby son. Really and truly, she's the image of him. He has the same hair and everything. You look quite Olive skinned to me, so such a fair skinned baby probably does look odd pink like that. Mine were all born like wee tomatoes lol so this to me is one of the most realistic baby dolls I've seen. She looks like she's nice and toasty warm.

Ikr? Most artists film in natural light. Once she opens the drapes instead of looking at her in ambient lighting the Lulu will look different
