Sir, you are a multi-talented gent: cook, comedian, juggler, farmer, content producer, and patriot Canadian! Love your videos! 😁😁🍁🍁🍁
How is he not married yet? LOL
@@stephaniebarry8934 I think he is. There is a blond lady in the opening pictures of this video.
@@jbye5353 I thought it was his sister LOL Cheers!
@@stephaniebarry8934 Oh, I had not thought about that! Maybe one day he will tell us?
Pretty sure the Pretty young lady is his neice
Been using Bison, you should be supporting your local Sask Bison. Bison producers need love too.
Been meaning to try bison
That sounds like something a bison producer should say 🤔
Bison burgers are great !
I have only had bison hot dogs but I’ve wanted to try bison brisket for months
I am sure Quick will use it in a future cooking video.
That sir looks absolutely delicious. I appreciate you use more Canadian products than most Canadian restaurants these days.
Damn!… I wasn’t exactly hungry (I just made an omelette with Canadian raised eggs, of course) when I started this video, but now?… after today’s video?? I have never wanted a burger more! Thanks for the cooking tips QDM. I trust your Summer is going well. Cheers.
Omg totally agree!
U should try these....rectangular slab of ground beef topped with pepperoni slices then shredded cheese on top then wrap the bad boy burgers with slices of bacon! Canadian made bacon of course! Recipe is from the BBQ pit boys from the south..
QD, Burnt Canoe is so good on beef, Whistling Coyote is my go to for chicken and pork. Saskatchewan rub at it’s finest………..
I don't use Canadian beef but I do use beef that was raised right around the corner from my place including be fed hay from my field.
Best part of this video is all the Canadian made products!
🙌🏻
Great to see your download from down under, keep up the sensible conversations on the abuse of power.
The black sauce is called “Caesar Squirt,” if you must know. Man, you are OCD with those burgers! Weighs the beef, uses a press, and then fixes the edges. Had me laughing. I haven’t had bannock for a while. Great idea. That BBQ sauce looked excellent. Have you tried blueberry compote on your burgers? Makes a nice change, especially with bison. Thanks for the Julia Child cooking video, QD. Have a marvellous week!
Hey QDM! What a great video! Gonna try oats in my Canadian Moose burgers next time. Tanya is Métis and makes deadly frybread with garlic and cheese! She also makes a deadly dessert bannock with apple pie filling! Keep the awesome videos coming! 🍻cheers🍻♥️🇨🇦
Sounds great!
Burgers look great! That's how my mom made meatloaf.
Reminds me of The Song by Reverend Horton Heat " Eat Steak"
Good morning QDM! Hey, you even improv in your cooking! Looking forward to the next one! Have a really great week.
Watched from Hope BC, and I'll definitely use this recipe
👍🇨🇦👍🇨🇦
Yep I'm doing that this weekend
I use taco seasoning in my bugers, I make sure it has cumin listed in the gradients. some extra black pepper, maybe bell or Anaheim pepper,
Love it all, especially Cooking vids 🤪 im here for it !!
Sending love from Ontario 🇨🇦
That looked so good. The bannock as the bun perfect. Classic stove that will never breakdown as well.
Nate
Well except for the right rear eye 😝
Awesome as always .... I sense a QDM, declassified recipes Cookbook coming soon to the merch dept
Looks D-lish! 😋 I'm not much for cooking but I made some fudge the other day with what I think was 100% Canadian made ingredients: Eagle Brand SC-Milk (Montreal), Nutella (Brantford), Lactantia butter (Quebec?), and PC chocolate chips (Somewhere in Canada). I sprinkled salt on top but to be honest, it was Himalayan sea salt which unfortunately can't be made in Canada unless we ever annex Pakistan 😁.
Great vid. A few slices of some thick cut bacon and slice of sweet onion going on mine. So many people negative about where they live. It's great to see someone proud of their hometown and country. The pics u take of fields and horizon are beautiful. Canola fields remind me of sunflower fields at home. Thx.
I love that Range oven
mouth just watering watching those burgers
I use oatmeal as well, grind it up a bit, hey good idea thanks
You're a pro chef QD - lots of great techniques for sure! Love the look of those babies. Good that you find and use all the Canadian products and promote them here on your video!! Have a great week!! 😀
Thanks 👍

Excellent tip using the oats, I’ll start doing that, thank you!!!
Yeah… im 100% trying this, this weekend
That looks like a great burger! Going to try making those Bannock Buns..yum !
Man that looks good, I will try to make it indeed. I noticed your stove is a classic which will outlast any newer energy efficient model and it is repairable. All this excitement made me hungry, thanks QDM.
Well now I've got a Monday morning drool going!! Haha. Looks defrikkenlicious!!
Thanks QDM.
I am so making me some Bannock buns for the next burgers!!! And I guess I gotta go to Saskatoon for parts now!! Damn....she gonna be a long drive from the east kootenays!! 😂😂😂🤟🇨🇦🇨🇦🤟
🤣
Oats! Thank god I’ve got you to back me up! People out here on the left coast look at me like I’m crazy when I use them
Great video, and a simple recipe is always best.
Can't wait for your next twoonie.
Looks Good
Love your video’s, great meatloaf.
Look forward to every new video. Makes our day! Gotta try this recipe.
Those burgers look yummy! I may have to give them a go sometime. Thanks for sharing QDM!
That looks delicious. I wish I could find heavy cream here in my neck of the woods, so I could make my own butter. Growing up on a small farm, I loved freshly churned butter.
Schnikies!! Great tips. I'm changing up my cooking habits here in Livonia, Michigan.
I followed your recipe, but one of the burgers got stuck to my ceiling during the juggling part.
Time to paint the ceiling anyway 😝
How long did it take to come down? I would say the 5 second rule applies. :)
🤣
Looks great Quicky !! prolly tastes better than it looks too, cheers bloke !
Looks like a good work lunch!
FKG BEAUTIFUL!!!
But.... Never, ever use garlic powder, garlic salt, garlic flakes or jarred garlic! You'll burp it and stink for days! Use fresh? garlic cloves (not from china) only! Smash or dice or whatever you do to break 'em into little bits (experiment to get the right amount), and fresh is far less potent than powder. For the 4 lbs you did, start with, I'd start with 10 average sized cloves and adjust accordingly.
The Robin hood flour bag brought back fond memories of walking across the 4th Avenue viaduct over the Moose Jaw Thunder Creek, and admiring the 20 ft. tall portrait of Robin Hood, bow drawn and pointing at you, painted on the Robin Hood flour mill silo. Gone now, wish I had a picture.
Thanks Dick! Your vids bring my pride of our nation to the fore once again!
Hey Quick, really loved the video.Burger looks delicious and I’ll try oats next time.Hopin’ you gonna make more of such videos.
Have a great day bud.
Awesome video! Love watching your cooking vids!
Glad you like them!
Agh another great video
Love it!
That's one mighty tasty looking burger! Greetings from Canada's border city! 🇨🇦
Thanks for watching!
Those looked fire bub 👊 sure liked how you made those buns👍👍
Awesome video! Will have to give those burgers a try!
You should!
Going to try that
Ya got my mouth watering..
Cheers from Vietnam
Thanks to QDM, we bought some Burnt Canoe and Rusty Sled. These spice mixes are amazing and have great flavour. Also bought Smokin toque and the chickadee. All around great products.
🙌🏻
I'm hungry!! 😂 Awesome job!!
Always entertaining😅. Love the 3 burner stove an super clean microwave!! Thanks for the regular mood elevator Quick. The best.
A excellent view! Appreciate your efforts and quality content friend. Sure like the looks of that burger! Cheers to continued success friend!🤝🏼✌🏼💫
Looks damn good
You really have a lot of talents, Sir.
I always look forward to your videos. Thank-you!
Looks good!
Try the recipe that I posted below and use Canadian beef!
Ye had me at the Scottish bannock, man im craving a cheese burger now
Thanks Quick. If you are at the stampede, could you air mail a full tray of those delicious cow pies to the
turd deaus team. Thank him for all he has done to this once great country. Did you see his very skilled
expertly executed pan cake flip at the stampede breakfast, that was not at the stampede breakfast.
Very nice. I got to smoke some one day...ma isn't a big fan of smoke but I'ma try it once. Thanks for the Canadian Content. We can all help if we buy Canadian of that there is NO Doubt! Great looking grill gloves - order put in. Zed vs zee....hahahaha! Bannock....geez, never thought of it buy why not! Nicely done. Midnight cookery....really surprised there wasn't suds in the hand instead of a coffee cup....oh wwell big day tomorrow I guess.
Finally, thanks for the vid. Always entertaining, always fun. Good luck to you!
And if you don't mind the heat, you get Bannockburn.
So, first thing on the list is drive to Canada for supplies!
Great recipe. Enjoyed watching you and your team at ranch rodeo!
Glad you enjoyed it!
Oh that looks awesome inviting good. Add the fresh air and the sunset. Heavenly. Doesn't get any better than that.😊❤
I love how you promote local!!!
My mom used oats as well. It's way better than bread crumbs.
I thought only newfies were smart enough for that. Lol 👍👊
I use oats too, and I’m in BC. Looks like it’s Canada wide!
@@marycrawford9428 .....or. You just might have some Newfie in ya! 😊😉
Mom used oats here in Ontario as well.
@@nunyadontyaknow I don't use any crumbs or oats in my burgers, but I would slap a hunk of meat on a touton.
@Jordy-927 fresh baked toutons! Oh yes sir! 👍
Looks damn good there chef QDM👍😎
I held out bravely and hungry until the minute 15:25.
But with"Postit-cheese", no matter where it's made, I'm out. There is such great processed cheese in the world, why such chemical slop on such a great natural product as this burger? I will never understand that.
Apart from that, great video. Be proud of your products and try to bring Canada back to a free country.
We always used rolled oats in our hamburgers and eggs, our farm eggs
We made these today with your recipe. They were delicious! Thanks from Ontario. 😊
Glad you like them!
Now that's my kinda burger!
Patties presser 😮😍
OMG, QDM those look amazing. Hang on, I'm coming over for a Bannock burger 😂😂
I like oats as an addition to help stretch meat to go a little farther like meatloaf. That's how my mother made meatloaf growing up. We didn't have fancy bread crumbs like they do now.
Only thing extra I add is onion soup(Lipton French onion or generic) mix for more beef and onion flavor.
looks like I am not the only one that uses oats in burgers, awesome video as always keep em cookin shows comin'
I’m drooling so bad right now 😋
The bannock seems very similar to damper. The ingredients are the same, but damper is usually cooked as a whole loaf.
I'd never thought to make rolls/buns in the past. I'll have to try it one day.
All looked very delicious. I'm definitely hungry now!
Looks delicious! I think I would throw an onion and a jalapeno in the meat mixture. Will be trying this recipe with venison burger
That would be really tasty!
Now craving Canadian Indigenous Bannock tacos! Nice recipe. Fun video!
What is indigenous bannock? It's a pioneer recipe.😉
@@kevinoneill41 I'll put it on my list of vids to make 😉
Bannock came from Scotland, its not an indigenous thing.
@user-wb4ns9xc4s every bannock made by an Indigenous person is 100% Indigenous. The word might be from scotland but common sense should tell you there is a reason every reserve makes this kind of bread, from Alaska to Arizona. It's an organically developed Indigenous food that came from reservation rations, ie. Flour, lard, salt, sugar etc. Born of necessity and had nothing to do with anything scottish
@@kevinoneill41nah, it's actually a recipe born from reservation rations.
Hey! Just watched this video and we're hooked! Love the Canadian and much SK products...and looks delish! Headlamp is too funny!!
Awesome! Thank you!
GM QDM ~ Loved the video!!! And thanks for the idea to try making Bannock although I have to make mine Gluten/Wheat free but well worth the experiment. I need to get me some Saskatoon's though...lol. Good luck for me trying to find those here in Toronto. Cheers
Another Celiac here hoping to find a GF Bannock recipe!
Canadian bean flour? Why the heck not 👌
Frozen fruit section.
Add minced onion and one small garlic clove and you have my moms award winning meatloaf. Tasty as heck.
