    If your running 19.5” rims on the dodge, I recommend Michelin xds2 tires. Well worth the money, I run them on my f550 service truck in northern Ontario Canada and they pull through pretty near anything and in all temps and the best wearing tire I’ve ran. Great videos, thanks for bringing us along.

    I unload and load 4x5 round bales at the barn with my little Kubota L2501. It will reach across a trailer to load the far side bales and also double stack them. Having a rear bale on it a must with it unless you have a death wish lol.

Used have a dry spell about every 10 years but it’s different now and I went up northeast a month ago and bought a 1100 foot Bauer water reel and 500 gallons a minute water pump. Doing what we got to do!!!

      Sidewinder Brand. They will cut down just about anything. Just two pillow block bearings and a special tire. I would bet the tires are getting hard to find now. Great for brush and trees. Not the best for heavy grass especially if it is moist. Tire starts slipping. When i worked with International Paper they had several five foot models. If you could push the trees over it would cut them off.

    • @DLHFarms
      @DLHFarms  Рік тому

      They are really tough and really heavy. Never had trouble with it slipping if the tire pressure was right unless it was raining.

      We have one of those mowers, they were factory rated to cut anything your tractor could push over, the brochure showed one mounted on a dozer with a pto.

      @@DLHFarms I made that comment about 10 seconds before you said what it was in your video. Lol.
      You've got a nice looking Sidewinder there. I look for the tire driven ones every so often, and most of the ones I see for sale look a little rough. You're looks clean, and not bent up. My Howse's gearbox went out a few months ago. I really need to get that fixed instead of using the drum mower in its place. I was looking at Hardee bush hogs the other day, and holy cow have tractor implements skyrocketed in the last 3-4 years.

    Good morning Dennis! Work, work, work. You need some rest. Speaking of which, have you ever considered the biblical theory of allowing the land to rest every seventh year so the land can rest and rejuvenate itself? Level. 25:1-7. Thanks for the ride-a-long.

    • @DLHFarms
      @DLHFarms  Рік тому

      I have but I’m not sure it applies for grass land, it still grows even if you don’t cut it then it’s a mess of weeds and overgrown junk. Then the land owner is mad at you and gets someone else to mow it from then own.

    • @DLHFarms
      @DLHFarms  Рік тому +1

      Few reasons. Round baler = $50,000. Big square baler = $250,000. Tractor that can pull round baler = $120,000 Tractor that can pull a big square baler = $250,000. No market to sell big squares around here either. Everyone that has cows around here has equipment to feed round bales not big squares.
