In a newborn cot a babe knows not, what gifts they've got from the gracious Lord of Hosts. The babe grows in every way, playing, learning all their days. And one day their grownups say, you now have come of age. Did someone ever taught to them about their God, who never them forgot, nor his good will brought to stop? For them he's waiting still, a free will gratitude to see for his grand generosity and love that fills eternity.

A fact that may interest you, is how the parliaments in Australia have inverted the Lord's prayer by changing one word .. You probably will never see this message but I thought I would try .. They changed the word" on " earth to "in " earth.. it's been this way for 3 decades that I know of ...Thank you for your dedication.. Cheers mate 👍
According to the Catechism of the Catholic Church, there are several meanings to what 'daily', ie, epiousios, bread means, and that epi-ousios is most literally translated as super-essential:[3] "Daily" (epiousios) occurs nowhere else in the New Testament. Taken in a temporal sense, this word is a pedagogical repetition of "this day," to confirm us in trust "without reservation." Taken in the qualitative sense, it signifies what is necessary for life, and more broadly every good thing sufficient for subsistence. Taken literally (epi-ousios: "super-essential"), it refers directly to the Bread of Life, the Body of Christ, the "medicine of immortality," without which we have no life within us. Finally in this connection, its heavenly meaning is evident: "this day" is the Day of the Lord, the day of the feast of the kingdom, anticipated in the Eucharist that is already the foretaste of the kingdom to come. For this reason it is fitting for the Eucharistic liturgy to be celebrated each day.
As the Bible says, “to everything there is a season”. If you are not yet at the stage of life for paid work, that doesn’t mean that God does not have work for you to do. For young people, work means study, preparation for adult life, as well as honoring/obeying parents. Don’t forget there may be unpaid work for you to do- helping an elderly neighbor, babysitting for a single parent, or volunteering. Pray and ask God to show you where the work is He has for you to do.
St Peter Chrysologus said: From Gen 1.27 at the start of creation, we, men and women, are made in God's image and likeness with a spiritual soul, His form, commencing in us His creatures the visible proof on earth that the invisible God exists in Heaven. From John 1.14, at the start of redemption, He, God the Son, the Word, is made in our image and likeness with a human body, our form, completing in us His creatures the re-divinisation of man by restoring grace on earth, in readiness for eternal life back in heaven.

@@tedprice5828 I don’t think that you have thought it through… If your bible says “slave” then perhaps it is an errant translation. Do you serve God willingly or are you forced to serve him; even being punished for failing to serve him (chastening isn’t punishment).

@phillipmckenzie The Greek word 'doulos' does in fact, mean 'slave'. It can also be translated as 'bond servant', 'bond slave'. Check out the O.T. regarding a slave who loves his master and chooses of his own free will to stay with his master even after his service has been completed. And what is wrong with being a slave to the Creator of Life?😊

So which is it and who is more likely to be able to answer this...a novice "wanna be Greek scholar" or 50 learned men who gave us an uncorrupted English Bible. A slave has no choice but a servant does...bond or otherwise. Nobody has resisted into blood in resisting sin...clearly we have a choice. God loves a cheerful giver not a mindless robot. Robot = slave (etymologically)
On page one of genesis, gods (plural) make men and women "in our (plural) image". Later, in genesis 2.18 god (singular) makes some animals and makes a woman from one of Adam's ribs. This seems like a contradiction, or at least a rethink. BTW M. Iles should know that Australian iron ore is about 1 billion years old and is made from the deposition of ancient micro-organisms.
when God created trees, they already had rings in them, so if we were to date them the day it was created literally the day after it would pre date before its actual creation. just food for thought for the ore.
It's almost like something changed with the new covenant... read Colossians 2 and Romans 14 and actually.. it's everywhere in the NT that we are not married to the law anymore
God was so generous He made a manger ready for His Son. Are you ready for the pronoun confession too? Arrogance is iniquity and idolatry; idolatry is a work of religion.
Generosity ? ? he intends to throw the bulk of humanity into a lake of fire where they'll burn and writhe in agony for eternity, Gee how generous can you get?

The new Testament was written originally in Koine Greek. What it says in Aramaic is irrelevant.

The word "dulos" should be translated as servant. I am a WILLING servant of Christ, not a slave

God is irresponsible with his gifts, casually tossing so much gold before swine and insisting that we are not swine.
Genesis 2:15 And the LORD God took the man, and put him into the garden of Eden to dress it and to keep it.
Work in Eden. Not industrial work
God gave all the minerals gold etc for man to WORK for: Economic Growth, Trade and Prosperity......
