@@lrrroftheplanetomicronpersei8 it happened to the wicker man ironically lol. the track had a protective coat but had some damage so the ride was closed for a bit of repairs. it was officially described as "a foreig object on the tracks" so it could be anything but people say it was a vape that caused the damage.
Also Rudi Rennkamel confirmed elevator lifts for log flumes. Surely if this is in the game then drop tracks are too because it's basically a drop track that goes up instead of down lol

what i think would be cool is an option to turn off guest fear in sanbox mode only. so people who want to just mess around can build the most stupid coasters and have the npcs ride them

I hate it that the devs allways present this game as this casual park sim game, but not as the tool for realistic creations we use it for. They spend minutes talking about some mascot... I haven't played the career mode since the month I bought PC1, now 1500 hours later.

@@Tomtycoon i have friends that play the game just for the theme park and creation aspect, they don’t really care about the realism of their coasters, heck i know people that are mildly into coasters that aren’t that aware of realistic coasters, most players are a lot more casual than you’d expect

You had one of the best reviews of Planet coaster 2 game play and you actually talked and showed footage from the game. Others channels are just talking about it and not showing anything , having the old footage and first trailer play in a loop. Which is so annoying and boring. But you ,Great review!!!

There was also a button to add trains whilst you are editing the track, which did nothing in the demo version, but it suggests there could be switch tracks or turntables, and that button hasn't been removed for the demo version for some reason (from rudi's video)

One thing I really hope they figure out is the ability to make shuttle coasters, especially with the launch models.
I really hope they add rotating platforms. Id love to be able to recreate the Congo River Rapids at Alton Towers

I watch a lot of UA-cam because I’m a big st/L oner but I have to say the boy DigitalDan is one of the funniest. I don’t even know if it’s intentional half the time but the delivery and editing put together is comedy gold. Legend!

Honestly what would take coaster creation to the next level in this game would be Force Vector Design. Almost every coaster today is made with FVD at some point along and would allow for seriously smooth and hyper realistic creations, no smoothing necessary.

No Limits occupies that field for a reason. If that’s your coaster objective, that’s more up your alley
15 min are more or less an hour ingame.
You can also pick opening and closing times. How this will affect your park is not known yet.
U have a tranport Bus that brings you from A to B with high capacivity.
Log flumes not only have turn tables, but also an elevator.
Mack supersplash coaster is confirmed with mid way turn tables and you can add two different entrys to your coaster station.
Paths gonna flat out the ground underneath it automatically.
Vending machines are also ingame.
There are also rocks with moss on it, which looks great.

Did anyone else notice that switch track icon in the top part of the rollercoaster menu when we saw the hyper coaster with the different smoothing options?
yea i hope its a switch track because its getting annoying that i have to build 2 rollercoasters mirrored and getting oppressed by the build complexity limit also i will be happy if they consider it to remove the complexity limit because its a bit annoying having a 'limit'

@@virtualmadneses3908 The limit is only for console, it doesn't exist on PC. And it's not up to them to remove the limit, they have to add it as a restriction by Sony and Microsoft.

The turntables full of water exist irl too, I'm not sure which park it was, maybe german Legoland, but I've been on one as a kid.

I really want to rebuild the Movie Park studio tour from Movie Park Germany, which is an awesome ride with very, very special elements.
I'm so excited! Way better than Roller Coaster Tycoon which is now rather obsolete. Looking at RCT these days is like a bygone era of the theme park scene.
Hopefully, I might even be able to recreate almost every park down to the last detail!

I tested planet coaster 2 yesterday, its very fun, you also got a hat, a keychain, a pin and an ice cream, so it was woth the 30 minute wait
i just really want auto-generated terrain. instead of always starting on flat. then you can take that and tweak it how you want. that would be more natural
I'm liking all they have shown so far with regards to the new features, revised pathing, ride skins, water park features etc... My ONLY wish would be that if you build a custom blueprint say containing several 1000 pieces that you have the option to 'flatten' it so it becomes a single piece count item when you group all the pieces together...

Why is every 2nd game of a trilogy by frontier about water, first jwe2 with lagoons and now pc2 with pools and water slides can't wait for jwe3
I hope the turntable is available on more coaster types. Such as spinning coaster like cobras curse at Busch gardens, and launch coasters like Voltron. And obviously I pray for other switch tracks to make swing launches and such
I was at their booth at Gamescom and got to talk to one of the devs how much I loved the demo! I can´t wait to build coasters from real life in Planet coaster 2! 🙃 (Also great vid because I was too stuned to notice any of that when I was there lol)

It would be great if we could have toggles for decorative pieces by season, eg. Decorate your park up for the winter season, and have them only show up in winter!

My biggest concern is whether they would fix the smoothing, so it seems like the game is going in the right direction!
Oh, sweet, fixing the smoothing was my #1 ask. Hopefully they made it not delete heartlining too.

What is everybody's obsession with switch tracks?
Some people want to make pantheon without using editing
One of the BIGGEST "vibes" I've been getting from this most recent stream is it feels very much like PlanCo2 is taking inspiration from the past. Specifically: Time Twister expansion pack of RCT2, Wacky Worlds expansion pack of RCT2, and of course the Soaked expansion pack from RCT3. I can see two possible directions for the DLCs.... one inspired by the themes from those expansion packs (*crosses fingers for a Wild from RCT3 safari pack*), or by the structure of the game, it could be more like (and bare with me by how limited they sound but aren't) "Flat Rides Pack", "Water Rides Pack", "Entertainment Pack", "Food Operations Pack", etc.... (just go with the vibe, not the grossness of everything else it sounds like).
I hope they will also include elevator lifts for log flumes and rapids
For a sequel that only differs from the first one in details, all I can say is: no real co-op, no buy!
