    Here's an easy, inexpensive, and decorative way to organize my hats! I like how this kinda gives the illusion of pins hooked on the wall! The good thing about this hat hanger is it's also easily customizable. You can add more or less rope braids or you can use a shorter or longer dowel depending on the space you're working with. You can also easily change up how you want your hats to be arranged since the clothes pins are removable. Your hats keep their shapes, and it only requires two holes in the wall! It also serves as part of your room decor and makes it's easier for you to grab your favorite hat before you walk out the door!
    I've been trying to figure out a way how to store and organize my hats. I was just keeping them in my dresser drawers before, but they would get squished once it started getting crowded in there. I've had to toss some hats after they've lost their shapes because I didn't store them properly.
    And then for awhile, I had them just stacked in the corner of my bookshelf. It was fine for awhile and I've considered it as part of my room decor. But as my hat obsession grew, it ended up making my room cluttered and unorganized. And it can be cumbersome when I want to wear the hat on the bottom of the stack.
    I had to organize this madness. I considered getting a hat rack, but it was one more thing that would be in my room. I would still end up piling them up on top of each other. I didn't really find any good hat racks either. I also searched the internet for DIY ideas on how some people organize their hats. I didn't really find anything that I liked, as most of them required multiple holes on the wall if you want to hang them. Some of them are just hooks where you can stack them, not sturdy enough, doesn't accommodate my wide brim and heavy hats, or the look just didn't match my room decor. So ta-daaa! Here's my version of how I'd store them with my own spin to it.
    I hope you enjoyed this DIY tutorial. Please don't forget to share and hit the thumbs up button if you liked it and you'd like to see more DIY videos in the future. If you did, here's a virtual tight hug!!! Thank you for watching and making it all the way down here. And if you're still reading this, please share your favorite summer accessory on the comments down below.

    I have antique metal hat racks that go on the wall but my bigger hats, garden hat and my husband derby etc dont stay up so well. I needed another way. I also have vintage 1940s, 1950s. I will add two rows more for my hair flowers, Maybe; that may not looks as nice just the hats "displayed".

    Love the braided rope. Not so much of the clothes clip. Maybe if it was painted or with some bling on it even a discreet paper clips. Thank you! Will be making this!!😘

    I have a bunch of beanies and I put them on top of each other on a lap shade. But the more I put the more that hat on top stretches... Trying to find a way to make a rack or something so it can look organized and good.

    You are very talented for your young age! I'm wondering if the clothes pin's damage your hats? I have so many, and many I only wear once or twice a year, so I'm thinking that the clothes pins would cause the brim to bend/crease/dent.

      Tamaj Wright Surely you must have had a dad at some point. Such is the nature of creating new human life.
      But I’d say, the dad comment aside, why wouldn’t she assume that girls/women/anyone at all would have their OWN power tools? I sure as hell have my own. Didn’t get it from my dad, wasn’t taught how to use it by my dad. In fact, I taught self how to be handier and more well-equipped with a tool bench than my dad ever was.

    @alexherpin1412 3 роки тому

    very sad you say "borrow your dads power drill" assuming a girl/woman/female or anyone other than a dad would not have one of their own. Girls can own things like power tools too. A world where every basic girl is screaming feminism yet cannot own a power drill themselves? such a silly assumption.
