Yo, I've found when I detail at places with no garage or shade a 10'x10' easy up canopy works great. Can easily move it out of the way to get sun without moving the vehicle.
The place I took my car to do an oil change left the cap off and it went EVERYWHERE! Would you use this same procedure to clean or "fix" the situation?
I’m pretty close to Summit Racing in McDonough, GA and they have the best stuff on the planet for detail. I only use it on show cars though because it’s pretty expensive
It's definitely a good idea and I have done it for my mobile detailing side as I do mobile and a shop. But canopies could take up a lot of time depending on which one you have and then you're losing time and money.
@@danny9791 yeah, I know that they make pretty quick pop up ones though that take a Max of about 5 minutes to set up. And with 2 people even less. And then that way you're not chasing your soap in the sun, feel like there's more pros than cons with it. But idk.
$90 for a 10x10 pop up canopy from Academy Sports. Or search Zshade. Takes me about 5 to 10 min to set up. Just depends if I ate 1 or 2 tacos before I got started.
I did a waterless engine detail and some degreaser got into the area of the spark plug and my check engine light came on i fixed it but then it came on again haha dammit
Is it okay to get hyper dressing on the Timing Belt? I never saturate because I’m afraid that it will make it slip.. It would save me a lot of time to do it this way.
@@DetailGroove quick question i thought engine cleaning was looked at badly everytime i tryed to clean mine i was told i would damage certain parts under the hood
I just picked up a 2000 F150 and the engine bay looks just like the “before” here 😂 - def excited to TRY to make it look as good as this
Letsgooooo
Oscar - if you can, get video of one of your customers seeing the end result of your work. Great job!
haha- that'd be cool but don't want to put them in uncomfortable positions
@@DetailGroove whish you guys were in florida
I wish I could hire you guys for my engine bay! Great job looks amazing

How much does such a service cost? What is fair price to detail an engine to this level?
I love your videos you make me want to keep my car just as clean as my house
haha- that's great to hear Alyssa!
If the sun was a factor, why not park facing the other way? Have you tried super clean foam for the engine?
Then you can't see anything. But it's a factor just like anything else, you just work around it. And I have not
Dang, you guys worked really fast also! LoL Looks great.
The place I took my car to do an oil change left the cap off and it went EVERYWHERE! Would you use this same procedure to clean or "fix" the situation?
Yes, just be fast in hot weather.
I want to do this to my ford explorer..... is there anything you need to cover so it doesn't get messed up
battery , fuse box , alternator

as long as it works :)
What product did you use dissolved 1:10?
Have you ever thought about buying a small portable canopy? It might help with shade

Ponle black tape over the check engine. You'll never know it's there.

You should check it with an OBD II scanner to see which one's the problem. You can take it out and then check it but it should dry after a while.
@@rayg5445 it was a spark plug that it was wet took it out dried it and all good 👍
cover the ecu not the battery
true
Did you try using the hydroshot connecting to a hose much much better pressure
Yes but if we have a hose then we'll just use that
Why did you cover the battery and not the computer? The battery can handle water but not the computer.

anything can be damaging when done wrong. In my experience, hasn't really been a problem
Never put anything on it ever
Can you refer anyone here in Bellingham WA, Pacific NW? Seattle area?
Gracias and Thank You.
Very nice job
So you only need to cover the battery and alternator? Then you can carefully rinse everything else down?
I'm guessing so, it's one of the main topics between detailers when they want to be safe. Definitely avoid the alternator. The battery too kinda.
I seen a guy take the battery out then put a garbage bag on top of the alternator and it worked really well
Nice work
Great video
Awesome video
Looks just like my dads engine bay
How much did you charge?
60
Does the tax man know ? 🤣
of course
Sounds kind of low$
Nice vid bro!!
thanks Daniel!
Couldn't you have parked the truck where yours was? Nonetheless another great video, thx.
Yes but then visibility isn't as good and this video wouldn't have been made
Great work fellas
$60 for engine cleaning or more to it?
that's it
Maybe next time turn the truck around away from the sun if possible?
first of all, why the fuck are you using pressure washer in engine bay?
I understand. For those that are inexperienced and lack skills, it can seem scary.
Man you are 🔥, 💯
thanks!
Bro i love ur videos but that do t looked caked on that looks like you splashed it on and let it dry
Lol, if that's what you want to believe. I can't stop you. The customer took the truck off-road a while back
@@DetailGroove hay im Not dissing you i watch all ur videos matter fact im starting my own detailing company because of ur videos
haha no worries Wesly. Didn't mean to sound offended. Glad I can help!

Just like anything, the potential is always there to mess something up. A few basic rules and guidelines will go a long way in saftey
I thought it's bad to wash the engine with water?
anything is bad if you don't know what you're doing
It’s 100% is these guys are lazy
