I haven't seen the movie yet, but I've listened to the soundtrack and it's beautiful! Apparently, Mary Steenburgen (the actress) wrote the song "Glasgow," which is pretty amazing. I didn't even know she wrote music. Can't wait to see Wild Rose for myself.

I saw another interview from Mary where she said she had no musical ability all her life until she had surgery in 2007. She was put under and when she woke her brain just saw everything in musical terms and so she started writing music just as a way to cope. Amazing really, it's such a beautiful song.
