Dude, I played this solo on upright bass in high school. It's challenging, but once you get it, it's one of the most fun bass solos you'll ever play. It's been a few years, and I can still play the solo by memory whenever I bust out my old bass lol. One of my favorite bass parts of all time. Good luck o7

Yes. There is flexibility built into the chart so that the director can have options regarding who they want to solo, or not. Each band is different and has different strengths.
