Super intrigued by these for camping. I feel like a better comparison would have been some sort of immersion brewer rather than pour over. Probably hard to replicate the type of agitation you get across the two. Great vid 👍🏻
I’ve had steeped bags as well with similar conclusions. Some variables that can attribute to the difference: bean freshness, grind amount, grind size, filtering style, coffee agitation/extraction method.

These work well if you lift the bag up and down the whole time. The best way to get a strong enough brew.
Interesting experiment, have you ever use those chemex reusable cloth filters? I have had mixed results with them and be curious on your take!

I've used a couple varieties of the steeping bags. I have found that you almost always get a weaker cup, regardless of steeping time or method.

I bought tea bags and I want to add coffee. If I grind coffee and put them in ziplock bags how long do you think the coffee will last?
