Your videos are getting better and better. Sometimes I leave them on even though I'm not really watching, to boost the channel. I particularly like how you build familiar shapes using different tools and methods every time.
Hi Dear thanks for your support and nice comment. Indeed nowadays I am spending a bit more time than previously and trying to create quality content. Though I do have less time, but nice comments of you motivates me.
UA-cam has really been lacking on good SolidWorks tutorials. I have no formal education with SolidWorks (or any 3D design program) and with how many different features you use, it really helps me expand my capabilities. I have become more efficient with my drawings and really appreciate these videos. Thank you! 😊 Also, what kind of computer are you using? I doubt mine would let me make it through this drawing. It's nice to see that I'm not the only one who has models that put their machine to the test. 😅
Thanks for your nice comment. I am glad to hear that you have found my videos useful. I have had students who reached within 7-8 months to really high level of skills in Solidworks. So therefore keep practising! I did not have a formal education for Solidworks as well, 22 years ago as a high school student I have discovered everything by myself. I had Only a pdf document which was explaining drawing of a very simple part, and it was in English while I knew no English words. My passion and perseverance allowed me to become excellent 😊 For your info I am using a very old computer has no significant features, if you ask my opinion if you will not use for work, a good computer unnecessary.
Awesomeness!! Noticed fluent understanding and straight to the sketch, selection, extrudes etc.. to achieve desired geometry. focusable and easy to learn.
Your videos are an invaluable learning source, wonderfully done. May I ask you to make some videos tailored to the CSWPA-SU which I am preparing to take?
Hi Alex, thanks a lot for your comment. I do not know the content of CSWPA-SU. 12 Years ago I passed that exam and I remember it was pretty simple. If you practice some of my videos, you will have 10 times more knowledge than necessary for that exam. If I have some material on my computer I will share with you please send an e-mail.
Excellent tutorial! I, too, enjoy making shapes in Solidworks that are not actually possible to physically make on Earth. My CPU definitely hates it, though- it really had to work its little butt off on this one. Now I can show this off to my friends, and when they ask "So, what is it?" I can just say "Pfff- you mean you don't know what this is??" ;)
Thanks for nice comment. 😊 We do not need to confine ourselves with the realities of production world. Also new technologies everyday allows things that they were not possible previously. I do like to think differently, this develops you tremendously.
@@rahuldumu8456 I have my doubts about that. A 3d printer would not do this shape justice, if it could do it at all. It would roughen it up, and you'd have to do a lot of painstaking finishing, I'm pretty sure.
Hi, great video! This is a very interesting design. Like you, I also run a 3D CAD channel but I use Fusion 360. Would you be ok with me reproducing this design in Fusion 360? I would definitely credit you.
I think the radii failed because you have to do the 3 long inside ones first. It doesn't like fillets that intersect at sharp corners. Filleting is probably the hardest thing to do in SolidWorks or any 3D software.
True, I had terrible days with fillets. Always there is a a solution but you should try different methods. I use Solidworks since 2001 and eachtime I learn somethings new infact.
Hi Ron, a STEP or IGES file should work for you I believe. I have never used Vectric Aspire I do not know with what kind of file extension program working.
Hi, In curve driven pattern you could only select one piece of curve, but if you notice that our curve in this tutorial consist of 3 part. That is the reason. Regards
hi: do you know the cause of this error? I followed step by step in video but when i use swept cut command at 12:23 it gives error "sweep operation failed to complete"
@@__mq.b I understand it now, the gap between two cut becomes smaller than 3 mm and Sweep not allows you to complete it. Reduce the number of revolutions in earlier sweep operation then you wont have problem. I hope it is clear now
You use different features each time in solidworks and i am learning things so much thank you teacher.
Thanks Dear. I am trying to do my best 😊

Your Part modelling is mind blowing. It's really awesome but can you please share the drawing also.
Thanks for your comment 😊 could you send an email for 3D model

@@3D-World Ok, no problem. I respect your wishes. Thank you.
great tutorial, but i find that i get an error message at 4:09 when I try to pattern the thicken feature

@@3D-World Thank You
Excuse me, Could you tell me what version of solidworks are you using?
Solidworks 2020
This was challenge from Autodest University
Hi thanks for the comment. I did not know that, I have seen it on Pinterest and I wanted to give a try with Solidworks
Why not stick with the 3D intersection curve only? Why make it a composite curve?
Hi, In curve driven pattern you could only select one piece of curve, but if you notice that our curve in this tutorial consist of 3 part. That is the reason.

@@3D-World I missed the multiple curves in the sketch. Would a fit split also work here? Thanks
Yes definetely Fit Spline will be also a nice choice.
hi: do you know the cause of this error? I followed step by step in video but when i use swept cut command at 12:23 it gives error "sweep operation failed to complete"
Hi Dear, normally it should work and I do not know reason. Probably one of the curves have some problem there.
i don't know why but when i try again by reducing the dimension of circle less than 3 the error does not occur

@@3D-World i love the solidwork design.

Sorry man, I did not realize that during turorial.
