I have that plan to prepare a video about whole surfacing commands and tools but I couldn't come up with a good road map. I mean how to proceed tutorial and what to show etc.
But I will do that.

for some reason the thicken comand didn't work for me. may you know a reason for this to happend? the error said it couldn't delete some faces

Hi Dear, Before I prepared video while I was modeling I had some errors related to thicken operations. If you did everything same it should work. Try to increases Radius size. It should work.

Yes I had also such an issue.
Try to make variable fillet, where start point having " 0 " value.

Still variable fillet is not showing in model, its working but nothing changes!

Thickness at the end of the edge reaches to "0" and that is the reason why program not able to handle this issue
