Just made a pot of soup, now listening to Jonathan playing this wonderful piece. What a wonderful afternoon, sun is shining all is well with the world..... well, almost.........
@@Charonupthekuiper ??? Seems to me, most organs take up a tremendous amount of space, considering all the pipes, the mechanisms, the casing, and the console!
Don't worry about the "thumbs down" people - I've concluded there's a perverse cadre of people who prowl UA-cam purposely to check "thumbs down" on videos because they believe nothing is perfect, therefore every video must have at least one "thumbs down".
@@Video7Rose So very true! You are absolutely right. This performance WAS perfect, but there are those who just want to grumble about something. Thanks for your comment!
@@davenamanda You're welcome! I realized it was silly to keep being outraged about those people and came to that conclusion about them. I'm glad you agree!
Bravo maestro !! Wish I could thumbs up ten times not just once! Great performance Johnathan . What an exciting arrangement, I've never heard the William Tell on the organ before!
Hurrah! What a wonderful performance! Dear organist! I congratulate and wish you all the best to perform well in more and more pieces like this. Your music inspires me to practice my music better and better on electronic keyboard. Even if electronic keyboard imitates the voice of pipe-organ it can't beat the real pipe-organ.
Bravo! Bravo!! 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼 My 3 budgies ❤your beautiful music and so do I. They accompany you, chirping, singing and clucking. Cheers, smiles, respect and all that good stuff coming right at ya from 🇨🇦
Don’t think I have ever heard that played on an organ. Beautiful. Would love to hear you in person. Feet was going a mile a minute. One of my favorite pieces of music
This is still great, but I liked the full version you played in Fribourg, Switzerland more. The second movement is fantastic and it links perfectly to the finale. It feels odd to only hear the finale.
Yes it is Jonathan's own arrangement. This is an excerpt from the full concert in Ripon which was also uploaded sometime ago and in that concert he lists this as his own arrangement.
aaaaaaaaaaand they're off out of the gate comes day of golf with plaaad pants and funny hat now it's hit the ball its in the woods and walk after it, out of the turn comes pull youself together and concentrate hit the ball and NOOOO it's in the pond! out of nowhere comes temper trantrum wit cursing and swearing and temper tantrum is out in front and oer the finish it's maniac man, thrown clubs and 17 more holes of hell!

All aboard the Tardis, the Dr’s Two are flying. CHOCKS AWAY!
Who needs an orchestra when an organ can present this piece so well? Kudos!!!
You don't.
Those buffoons just get in the way - especially the one out front on the ego trip.
@@Offshoreorganbuilder LOL! 😁
Indeed, that's why organs are so good. They produce a huge amount of sound but next to no space.

Отличная мелодичная великолепная !!! Александр Одессит
❤💪
I see you have improved a lot from a duet piano with low quality camera to insane organ skills and all played by one man!
Hi Ho Silver, away!
❤️❤️❤️
When you volunteer to clean all the windows of a church just for some time playing the organ !
Fantastic Piece of music, played and registered superbly! Is this your own arrangement Jonathan?
Yes it is Jonathan's own arrangement. This is an excerpt from the full concert in Ripon which was also uploaded sometime ago and in that concert he lists this as his own arrangement.
First comment. 💪🇦🇺
the best orchestral version is by the Artosphere orchestra. lots of fun
If Buzz Lightyear played the organ
Is Jonathon making orchestras obsolete ….
Ha ha! Good question! 😊
It's not a gallop. It's the charge of the Swiss Soliders w/o horses
Yes its title is the March of the Swiss Soldiers and written as a galop (one L) - which was a double time ballroom dance popular in the 18th century
But before he could say anything else, the jet engine was rocketing Thomas up the track!
