    Here in AZ I was always told to put the graft north facing, maybe because its dryer here.
    Love seeing you with your Grandpa, such a blessing to have him to teach future generations what he knows.

    I'm so impressed with your soil. Here in south Texas we dig and get rocks, rocks and more rocks. I'd LOVE to be able to dig and hit dirt for a change!
    Great video. Love your grandpa...he needs to star in more videos!

    I bury a few logs and sticks around the hole too, they'll rot and hold water for years, provide carbon etc
    Reminds me of my grandpa ~just watch yer fingers!

    Hi there,
    Your Grandpa is adorable! I enjoyed watching the both of you. Question: do you presoak your bare root trees?

    • @AudreysLittleFarm
      @AudreysLittleFarm  4 місяці тому

      Thank you! No, we don’t soak the trees first we just make sure to water them in well after you’ve planted them. Also, you do want to keep your bare root trees in soil until you’re ready to plant though.

    Audrey, thank you for the explanation, bless your grandpa!!
    I’m going to start planting my fruit trees soon!
    One question, can I plant closer the same kind of fruit trees? Like 4 apple trees in the same area.
    Or it’s important to keep the distance between them, too?
    Love to you and your family! 😊

      Thank you 😊 You can plant them closer, Dave Wilson Nursery youtube channel has some videos on that. However if you have the space it's better and easier to plant them further apart like demonstrated. When you have them too close it's going to take a lot more pruning and work to keep them growing healthy.
