I just finished reading her book. I couldn’t put it down, what an awful experience she had but has come out the other side. She is an amazing woman and I have so much respect for her.

This like saying you like Kelly's music more than Beyonce. Mel C was the most talented song writer and vocalist in the Spice Girls and quite rightly had the most success.
We all need to read her book. Sadly this is relevant to so many people, men and women.
She was always my favorite.
Let’s be honest, you can’t ever tell your best friend or family member you don’t like their spouse. They make it about themselves and interpret it as you don’t like them or a part of their life. Also you know you become the topic of conversation and the “problem” when that pillow talk gets juicy at 2am and your their building block to stomp on. Stay out of it.

Let us be realistic here........... Her love of her life was Eddiie Murphy and then they parted and a year or 2 later she has this abusive relationship..... Most probably it did not work out because Mel was not giving 100 % obviously she said in her own words in this interview Eddie was the love of her life...... I cannot figure this out...... Most possibly that is 1 reason why it turned toxic.
