Great video! I live on the edge of Melton, very near the railway bridge over the Werribee River. I've never been to Ballarat by train so have never been over the bridge. It was good to see the water from above. I've just got onto your videos and have a feast in store. Do you drive all those trains yourself? Thanks for your wonderful videos.
What was the squeak at the end of the video there? Been there in that yard remember? On the derm trip eating our lunch sitting amongst all of the locos and N sets carriages back then? I’d never done that in my whole life so that’s something that I’ll always remember in my lifetime! Do you have someone to drive you back down to the station? As I was going to say how do you get to from where you were in this yard here? Cheers thnx for an awesome vid as always! ☺
A couple of questions - does "site of ??" refer to old or new railway sites, and the blue boards with numbers and the numbers displayed on some signals, are they speed boards??
I do enjoy your videos , but the picture quality seem to be not as good as when you first started . It could be stabilizer problems . But thank you for your posting .
Gotta hand it to the Victorian government for a significant and sustained rail infrastructure investment process. If the Liberal/National parties had have been in power for 21 of the past 25 years, almost none of this would exist.
What is the name of that stretch of water at 2:13? . 667 you must have been to every corner of Victoria as a train driver over your career.......🚅🚅🚅🚅🚅🚅🚆🚆🚆🚆🚆🚆🚂🚂🚂🚂🚂🚂

That is the Melton reservoir which is fed by the Werribee river. I have been across most of the state in all my years on the railways. 👍😀
