I've built alot of frankenbikes, atvs, dirtbikes, and threewheelers over the years.. I love this bike. It makes sense to me as a great practice machine especially for a youth racer.. sometimes it's more fun to ride a slow engine fast than a fast engine slow and that motor is going to outlast a modern fourstroke by alot of hours! Great Job BBR ! a 200cc yamaha blaster engine would be cool to see in a similar setup. There cheap, reliable, and don't vibrate because of there built in counterbalancer. It would also work as a great enduro /trail bike engine with the stick porting. I've used the blaster engine in several projects, including a mini chopper that would go over 70mph.

#1 it’s not a pitbike, it’s built to be a race bike. So how is a 20k fully custom race bike from the ground up that is worse in every way than a stock 150r not a complete failure?
I'm so close to doing this for each of my 5 kids!!! Honda makes great air cooled motors with electric start and now even fuel injected but their trail bikes are so heavy and the suspension is not up for any fast speed racing on trails, woods, single track... Etc... I'm not talking about motocross jumps. I'd go buy KTM or Husky for my kids if I wanted them on motocross race bikes... Basically... There is no off the shelf light weight Enduros made for kids...
My thoughts exactly, xr200 engine might be a better pic as well for a kids racing enduro/trail machine. I really like that 200cc Yamaha blaster engine, I think I might put one of those in a ttr225 chasis and make a custom swingarm rear shock setup and swap the front forks for inverts off like a 150f or something..
Why the hate, this is a bike you can ride for 100 hours + with just oil changes. Working at a motorcycle dealership I see the $ it takes to keep a modern multi valve engine going. Even the 250 4T motocross bikes have only 15 to 30 hours riding before top end needs to be done. It’s a fun bike, but if someone entered it in a tight enduro in woodlands it would be near the front. I wish a OEM would do something like this.
I thought for a minute he was going to have to bail at the top of the hill and walk it up. If that hill is as steep as it looks its a good thing he had enough juice (if only barely!) to make it up and over.
