"Let's overload this crane, way beyond it's failure limit, and see if it fails..." - "Oh, yes it does..." Goodness me, they must have a lot of spare time in Sweden.
Interesting content, misleading title. That was neither a FAIL nor EPIC. It wasn´t even an accident! It indeed was controlled and not "controlled". Thumbs down.

Hello, I have watched the video you uploaded, and I think it would be great to use about 5-10 seconds of your video as part of the safety training materials we are developing. We will not upload it to any social media or UA-cam, but use it solely for educational purposes for authorized trainees, and will provide proper attribution. I kindly request your permission to use the video. If you have any questions or additional conditions, please let me know. Thank you.
Normally there is a safety switch that limits the crane to go beyond max traveling limit on the boom. These limit switches can fail.... then this can happen :)
@@vmtools9043 there is a limit switch for the travel that will switch off the forward on the arm when the car reaches the end but i think what they wanted to demonstrate here is the failure of the max torque safety switch. Periodic safety inspection should test both max load and max torque safety switches but many inspectors don't bother...

Thank you so much for your time and expense to show us what these cranes can actually lift.

Looks more like a controlled failure than an accident.
The base anchor failed. The crane structure itself appears to remain in tact, going down as a unit. It tipped from the base.
If a crane falls in the forest and the boss doesn't hear it, will he even remember he owned that POS?

What was that?
Where's the footage from the drone in the background?

@@OStrip it's just a fun day at work

Over Load of an old Crane. Safety video...

It's not an accident, saw it somewhere and it was mentioned that it was done on purpose.
Ok, so it was lifting a concrete weight over nothing in an open field 🤷🏽♂️
Thumbs down for fake title! 👎
When in doubt trolley out
Not a tower crane. It’s known as the self erector class of cranes. Counterweights on the base swivel and remotely operated with no onboard operator.
There’s always one ☝️
I guess they were showing what would happen if you put so much weight all the way to the end of the crane.

@@vmtools9043 as a cane operator, you NOW what the lifiting limit is off youre crane and till what distance....... and don't hoist it 14m up.
OSHA Approved!
Or you can fold it down and haul it to the scrapper. Much faster than cleaning up a mess.
The camera in the fore ground is a dead giveaway
Clearly not an accident.
Testing to destruction .
Clickbait!!!! You can watch a better version of this on purpose controlled collapse
If not the clapping an cheering at the end was uncalled for
Good video. ♡ T.E.N.
Is the guy in the crane ok
Radio controlled crane, operator well within safety distance ;)
In the words of the famous Ronny: Kranplätze müssen verdichtet sein!
Testing it

Good stuff

That was a set up, many give always as an operator, what a waste of time
Every bit intentional

Phá
Crane was junk!
CLICK BAIT!
Crane loading to failure test. Set up camera, frame crane. Move load out boom. Follow load with camera leaving crane support structures out of frame.
Click. Bait. Thumbs down.
Umm controlled fail? Doubt it.
Yes
They probably disengaged the overload protection. In normal conditions it would have stopped the load driving further and further down the jib.
Bollocks
Was that a Trump flag on the load block? Maybe it fell down because it wanted to.
