Financial management is a crucial topic that most tend to shy away from, and ends up haunting them in the near future.., I pray that anyone who reads this will be successful in life!!

I think the answer to this question has so many factors, that it is practically impossible to actually answer. For example, if you work in the same place you have already have a home in, you'll be saving a lot of money on rent. If you live in a less expensive place, you will save a lot of money. For someone from a place like say, Ahmedabad, if that person works in Ahmedabad, that person will be saving more money earning about 1L per month, compared to a person working in Bengaluru earning 1.5L per month, living on rent. So, I believe a one-size-fits-all figure is just not feasible

Sir let me just tell you something, you are the only person in the whole Ytube community who gives so real and practical solutions to every questions we have in our minds. I can see no other person doing the same thing. You are the only one who is shaping the mindsets of all the Young Indians. Thank-you and looking forward for your next Brainstorming videos.
Very nice vedio sir.....for to the point answer.....not like other motivational speaker...... Round around talks 👍
It was really helpful to get a specific amount, a goal. Atleast now I know what can be considered a sweet spot to be "Happy" ☺️ Thank you so much.
Yup yup totally agreed with you. Money is damn important but yes to a limited extent.
True sir ,this topic is a must in our lives..... Money does makes us happy but sometimes greedy too..
Your videos are just logistic and helping me a lot to deal with topics related to personal lives... ☺️#boon to youth ❤️❤️🙏
I agree 100%
❤
I think your assessment is almost spot on. With a rider, vis a vis personal ambition which has no end.
If you own a house with loan, this is relevant. If you do not have pending loans, but hold a property, this money goal will come down by 60%.
The most important part is time.
You only get only life.
With a business you can make other people work 9-5 minimum whilst you only do a weekly or monthly check on the business and focus on literally anything else (assuming you have the proper SOP in place which is easy to do if you have the skillsets and ability to take the business to said level.)
Yes, I don't make 1.5 lakh per month as I live in Delhi. I understand it's difficult to live with less than 1.5 lakh in Delhi. Money adds up to your happiness . True
Nice to hear that money is as important in life as everything else.
You are really a wonderful person that you talk on those topics of people whose life is more. was needed
so i want to say thank you very much & you're amazing ️
Thank you SIR 🙌
Very practical talk Chetan. Thanks for putting this up.
Reason why I watch your videos is they make sense, are logical and helpfull. Thank you!!
Btw sir, are you still in quarantine??
Itna logical hoke Chetan ne kuch Invent kiya ya nahi?

We as society need to change the way we perceive happiness. Especially in Eastern India.
Here, sense of prestige is more imp than money. i e. Being IAS, politician is far fetching then earning 2 LPM.
Somewhere down the line we need to re~orient ourselves to glorify dhan. For us to become a real 5 or 10 trillion economy.
Sahi bole bhai isiliye Eastern india jyada underdeveloped bhi hai rest of india ke comparison me
Pehle khud ko Change kar (like kejriwal)

Very difficult question, Very well explained. Kudos!
What are your thoughts on AI. As in current scenarios every thing is bounding with advance techs.
If you keep looking or working for money you will eventually get it. So keep on trying and pushing the bar. Be the best you can be in your life. You are the brand and the product. 🥂
agree sir ..thank you ..your videos are awesome and eye opening..
point to point talks ..ty sir
For me - it was the answer I was looking for and that is why intellectual 'Chetan bhagat' is place where I try to find answers for such questions. Thanks a lot sir.
Buddha had more luxury than we can imagine, yet he was not happy.
True. Happiness can not be measured with material comforts.
He is talking bout minimum , not maximum to make one happy..logical
Thanks for putting a number to define to possibly the biggest professional question of the majority...and that too scaling it to the Indian context. Has really helped me put a perspective to define what is good for me. By and large, this 1.5lpm seems a really good figure to do the things that can make us happy. An eye opener really!
Yeh goal achieve krne ke liye, I guess FMS Delhi is the best option.
Very nice concept.... 🙏
hi Chetan, an apt and relevant video for a question on most people mind. while 1.5l-2l will take of needs for most people across india, it doesnt solve the issue of key financial requirements such as kids education and retirement esp if you want to send kids outside India for studies. Please share your thoughts on this area as well.
Cant the kids take their own debt and pay that after getting job??
What outside india for studies? Have our education system failed? Nawabi nakhre paloge toh 10 lakh bhi Kam padenge

If this scientific presumption being true to some extent then we can assume our 90%population in India is far away from the happiness index...this is absolutely a frightening truth (if so)...
Sir apki baat sur kr bhut sahi lga aur meh life meh hamesha se hobbies ko pura krne k liye life meh apni earning dekhta hu
True sir. Monney matters..just having a good career won't satisfy u if you don't earn enough.

I wish the majority could earn 1 lac/month eventually Country would be happy. Thank you Sir
If majority earn that, prices of things will also go up due to inflation. So that happiness amount may go to around 3 or 5 lacs/month
