I really like the 'transformation challenge'. I can see that the materials are not always that inspiring but that is partly the point, - it is a test of raw creativity and crucial for forming someone who has the sewing and design skills to win.
Really looking forward to the new series, for you and Kim’s reviews with special guests, especially the first one with the lovely Lizzy Curtis 💛⭐️ from Di Waterman x
What's a good place to start with making clothes. I am on the plus size and fairly new to sewing. I don't own an overlocker and no experience with making clothes. Also I am disabled so clothing needs to be easily accessible.
I enjoyed the first show. I think that Kiell has settled well, and I like hime very much. I would like your episodes to talk about the garments, and it would be wonderful to have more garment makers for your guests, and not just P&Q people.
Love the programme and the UA-cam natter - can’t wait for tomorrow night and the start of the new series. I hope there are more dressmaking scissors crunching through fabric rather than those rotary cutters - these should be kept for cutting with rulers and temp, ages imo🙈
If they address anything this time, I hope it'll be the waste of fabric. I know they have time restraints but so many pattern pieces get plonked in the middle of the fabric. I agree about the transformation challenge. Often serviceable garments e.g. men's shirts in one series, hacked to bits and ultimately must end up in landfill. The time they made dresses out of duvet covers was OK though.
I agree to a point, rags though area profitable commodity, people working in eg the motor trade use rags and many rags that are too small for much are converted into thermal packaging or stuffing. I have a problem with so-called no waste patterns that have far more fabric in them than they require ‘just because’… when really that extra fabric could be used for something else. It would definitely be nice to know what happens to the scraps.
Hi, can you clarify what you meant by ‘you will share it across the social media platforms’? Do you mean the programme or just bits of it that you’re discussing? Only my sister in law is in the US so can’t watch it until later in the year. Thanks x
Nice to see you back with your review show, enjoy this as much as the show, keep up your honest comments and sewing insights, ❤
Really looking forward it - it was so good last year!! Thank You

Fabulous that you're going to be back. Love the Natters as much as the programme 🙂
I have choir practice every Tuesday evening when Sewing Bee is on but my Sky is set up to record it so I can watch on return.
I’m looking forward to this. I have been following TSB from day one but I have just found you 😎🍀💜

I really hope they tackle plus size fitting..
Yaaaaay ❤
The first episode felt flat. Nobody was good enough. The new presenter lacks chemistry with the judges.
