I agree-great bike! I just moved from a Road King standard to a 2023 Anniversary Heritage and really enjoy it. One sugestion to give your passenger another 3in of seating room is the sissy bar relocation kit by Ultimate seats. Makes a big difference for your passenger. Anyway, time to spend a few more bucks on it ordering my Ultimate seat, too! Enjoy!
Waited through entire vid. was almost wondering if I'd have to prompt you, when you recalled to describe your bars. Great presentation. Got 150 miles on my 2024 just bought and had them trade the tin with a 2022 Reef Blue / Vivid Black after wrecking my 2005 Fatboy last Summer and buying a 2014 Fatboy, then trading for a 2019 Scorched Orange RKS ... Fell off a bunch of times after the broken leg from the original Fatboy accident and finally attained the right machine; following some rather expensive test drives. I ordered a 13.5 inch freedom shields for mine with the painted black bottom. Should be here any day now. Still looking for the bars which will rock my V-Twin world.
I don't disagree. I have ridden this motorcycle all over the country. This last summer I rode 3500 miles in eight days from Kansas City to the Grand Canyon and back home. Is it as comfortable as a full blown touring bike with lowers? Probably not but it really isn't that bad. It definitely has the advantage over the big touring bikes when it comes time to hammer around the semi-trucks or heading in and out of the twisties. Is straight line riding really why most of us own motorcycles? Nope.
Nice video! I have a 2020 Heritage classic 107 and i'm looking to do a stage 2 upgrade. With the exception of the engine guard, license plate bracket and changing the rear lighting to LED the bike is stock. If you don't mind, how much does it cost to do the stage 2 upgrade. Can i go directly to stage 2 or do i need to start at 1?
Stage 2 just by itself is approximately $2K but you can't do it without a stage 1, which means you will also need to pay for a bigger air filter and upgrade mufflers (no need to change out head pipe). Doing a stage 1 and 2 all at the same time will save you about $300 on the Dyno tune portion of the upgrade because you only need to do it once after stage 2 is complete.
Hey, great video. I have a 21 FLHCS, so very similar to yours. Are the passenger floorboards you've added (for your wife) from Harley Davidson, or are they aftermarket? Part numbers would be great if you have them, as I'm planning on doing the same. Thanks
Harley Davidson Floorboards. My wife hates the pegs and floorboards are a lot more comfortable for her. I will spend what it takes for her to ride with me more frequently. ;)
The fender bib did not come with the seat. I think that was made by Mustang. The tank badging is definitely a personal preference kind of thing. I hated the original badging.
I've got the 23 version and I don't have the money for the upgrades and really need them. I'm six two, the bike doesn't fit me. Think I'll trade it for a Street Glide
Wondering what size the stock bars are? 9’s 10’s ? And I will say that I have the same ludicrous badging on my 2018. One of the biggest problems I have with it is the see through semi circles areas. If they had just been built those areas out how much better they’d look.
I agree on your badging comment. It would have looked a lot better. I don't remember what the stock bars were but I also went up to 1.25" in diameter. The stock bars were just too spindly for my taste.
@@KCBarneydude That’s a pretty bike you’re putting together. Yo got me thinking about wrapping my bars with a couple wraps of friction tape. Get them up to about 1 5/16 on a budget build. 😂. Heck even good tape is expensive these days.

yeah, got the mustang bars.. and the hwy pegs.. I use both, nice to have both.
Very nice
That clutch cable would drive me nuts.
Great bike tho
The clutch cable is definitely a pain. I might change that out soon. It was part of the kit and I was kind of stuck with it.
Think it's the best bike harley has in the line up practicality wise. Love my 21

Hi. I have the 2022 version of this motorcycle. Love the seat. Did you get it directly from Corbin? I can't find it. Thanks
yes, direct from Corbin.
It's the classic solo. I also purchased the pillion to go with it.
Thank you for the info!
Excellent video, love everything you have done.. where did you find the passenger floorboards?
Harley Davidson floorboards.
I like that fender cover on the rear. Come with the seat?
The tank badge is underwhelming imo. Sorry, nice bike .

Love the bike. But for over 20 grand it should come ready-made to roll.
Well, it was ready to roll but it can always be better. LOL!

It looks like you added an extended brake pedal, too. How do you like it?
Got that looking sweet, I just bought a 23 Heritage. Stay safe 😎. New sub
Thanks!
100% with you on the windshield

That’s a nice looking Mustang you’ve got over there.❤❤❤
2011 Mustang GT. First year for the Coyote engine. We love it.
@@KCBarneydudewhat horsepower is it turning?
@@TranslateToEnglish 110.51 MAX HP @ 5.34 RPMs, 124.75 MAX torque @ 3.94 RPMs
@@KCBarneydude how do you get it down to 5 rpms ?
@@TranslateToEnglish that is 5,340 rpms. I was referencing the dyno print out of HP and Torque ratings for the stage 2 upgrade.
Nice bike, where did you get your jack from?
Thanks Brendo. Had it for years. I really don’t remember where I got it.
Did you have to order the tank badges from Harley. How much where they?
@@taylormoser Yes, ordered from Harley. I don’t remember exactly but it wasn’t too bad.
@@KCBarneydude Thank you.
The lack of the center visor for the headlight has been an issue since 2018
Truly a bummer.
Nice Bike, can you let me know how you ordered your passenger boards. Please
I personally ordered them from the Harley Davidson Parts counter here in Kansas City.
@@KCBarneydude I just did the same, thanks for taking the time to reply.
Where did you buy the screen dude ???
Freedom Shields out of Colorado.
@@KCBarneydude thanks 👍🏻
What windshield and highway pegs are those?
Freedom Shields out of Colorado for Windshield. The highway pegs are Harley Davidson brand.
Freedom Shields has excellent customer service. Great buying experience.
