    I *think* the reason the female megaraptor is not interested is not so much the ability of the land to support both of them, but rather, likely as not, she's got children somewhere in there- and doesn't want any possible dangers to them, ever.

    Megaraptor was in fact a teturnaran; a relative of Spinosaurus in terms of how it functioned, but a distant cousin, not in the same general family of close relatives; yet the sizes of the animals had no relation at all.

  • @TheExpendable89

    Good watch, and very informative. Although the animation is a bit on the corny side. The pachy death scene was hilarious. It was bit in the leg, and just fell dead like an indie video game kill 🤣. Also why in the documentaries do they always make herbivores seem so helpless, and weak? Evidence has proven these animals defended themselves in very brutal manners, and won these encounters more often than what is often portrayed. Yet we always make them seem so helpless, and weak. That pachy could have easily shattered one of the attackers legs. Sure probably would have died being alone against so many, but dang man where’s some reality here lol

  • @carolynallisee2463
    @carolynallisee2463 Рік тому +4

    OK, there were some errors in this, mostly in pronunciation, but one serious one stands out. It could be fixed by re-dubbing this section. It's stated that this is the Jurassic Period, and a little while later, 'grasslands' are mentioned. Now, flowering plants as a whole didn't evolve until the Cretaceous Period, with fossils of the very earliest forms being found from the middle of that period. Grasses are an advanced form that only evolved in the middle of the Cenozoic Era. Dinosaurs were long extinct by then! This isn't to say there wasn't any ground cover- low growing conifer shrubs , ferns and such, just no grasses of any kind. Better to call it fern prairies or conifer scrub rather than grassland!
    Addendum: you may also want to review and perhaps adjust the volume of the background music, too. In places it was so loud it drowned out the narration.

    Great use of what is in the game. It is annoying that Pyroraptor is the only small birdlike dinosaur with feathers. There should be a cosmetic gene for feathers.
    Edit: Utahraptor has exceeded my expectations. Still wish we had a feathered ornithomimosaur though.
