This song feels like love. And magic. And the scent of warm rain in the air. A time in the world when the heavy leaves of summer surrounded us all, like laughter. And we were who we thought we'd be, forever.
When this song sounds, I can still hear the sound of my boots in the rain on some Seattle street, en route to a destination long forgotten! Man it can rain in Seattle!
I'm from the 60's and 70's era and I love Smashing Pumpkins because they remind me of '60's psychedelic rock---kind of free-form garage band stuff recorded after smoking a lot of hash---Billy Corgan is genius----
I used to play this song on the jukebox at a hick poolhall i used to go to in kansas. It used to really piss off the "old-timers" especially when the screeching guitar solos at the end went on and on = ) great f@#king sing and great f@#king soundtrack!!!
Hm. Didn't know I like Smashing Pumpkins, didn't expect to! It's nice to hear a longer-than-3 minutes piece of music too. Screechy is a good contrast, makes me listen closer. I'm hearing Hendrix in there. :>)
Rocky Rolly ---the PUMPKINS were the SHIT. No equal. I'm SOOOO happy that they were included in the SINGLES soundtrack-BECAUSE they were not from Seattle!!!!!!!!!!!! chicago, baby!!!!!!!!!!!!!
@ReverenG Dam I hope all of my littles say that....My First born was conceived during much Smashing and Old School Verve.......I know he does....Its these darn GIRLS I have to protect from the GaGa Demons & the Bieber Freaks!!!! Kick Ass!!!
