Thanks for being so generous with your sharing. I’m donating a painting to be auctioned to support a charity which supports bereaved parents of stillborn babies and this will be perfect. 'Angel Wings'. Hope I can do one as beautiful as this!
That was the true meaning of poetry in motion. That was beautiful from start to finish. It was like an optical illusion, watching it transform from wings to a hurricane/tornado.
Thank you for sharing your lovely talents. I adore these colours. Another of your beauties to try out. The best wings I have seen. Wishing you a relaxing creative day 🙏❤️
Beautiful! Love the end result better than the wing look. Your vids are some of the very few that I don't mute the music, and you're truly a master at this technique.
I kept saying Stop now but as your painting kept developing I was awestruck. Love it and can’t wait to try it. The music made me sad though. Keep making videos to inspire. Thank you
I have watched thousands, well, at least hundreds of pouring videos. I have never commented on one before. I was so moved by your video, I wanted you to know how gorgeous I think your art is. I loved the end result. Inspired. Thank you!
Linda Smith Latimer Thank you Linda! I noticed this happen in one of my earlier Swirl while tiltpouring. That’s one of several food thing about the filming. You see a lot of things happen that you miss out while working.☀️
Kristin Oladatter Steen I completely understand missing things when you are in the moment and recording. I do watercolor YT videos as well and find I learn things from my own videos to teach others in the next painting. Really love your “find” on this pouring!
Kristin, I just watched this video three times and you show how to mix and pour and explained, thank you so much! God really smiles on you, and may He bless you and what you are going to do with this painting. Such a sad but worthy cause.🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻😇
Thank you so much for sharing this technique Kristin.....it still turned out beautiful❤️❤️❤️❤️....you could have stopped at any number of points during that had an amazing piece at the end, but I still love how it finished up....you do really beautiful pours .... I will certainly be giving this one a try 🌹🌹❤️❤️❤️❤️xo thanks again
Kristin Oladatter Steen you have certainly started a feather/wing pouring..."revolution"!!!! it seems EVERYBODY'S trying to do this...AMAZING!!! so far, only one has done it successfully, that i kno of!!!!! 😍😍😍 💖💖💖💖
Gayla Roof Yes, I’ve noticed a ”few” too😃 It’s great! Do you remember where/who made the ones you found sucessful? Would love to see them. I’m Waiting for supply of more wooden boards, but as soon as I get them I’m gonna try out a new Idea that I have involving the wings😊💕
Kristin Oladatter Steen tasha ballenger is the only one ive seen successful. ☺. McEart is another whos tried...she almost got it, but i think she over tilted. tasha tried 7 x's, but she finally got it. nobody else has come close. you really started something!!!! 😄😄😄 💖💖💖
Wow Kristin, that is breathtakingly beautiful. I see that your paint is rather thick, so I guess it doesn't flow all over the place. Would you share the colors you used? Absolutely beautiful!!!
Thank you! Yes, the paint is rather thick. Also it’s important to achieve the same consistance so no color is «running» away. The Colors are titanium white, mars black, oxide yellow with gold, and raw umber with some copper.
Kristin Oladatter Steen I was lying here watching your pour, clutching my pearls as I watched the one side flowing off. It was still great tho. I’m a painter, I do mostly surrealism but I love watching people pour. Haven’t tried it yet but it looks like fun!!❤️
Wow this is soooooo stunning beautiful!!! Would you mind if i catch up that idea and give it a try?? Will credit you in the video of course. Honestly beautiful ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
Kristin Oladatter Steen thank you :) I want to do more collabs to help out each other’s channels grow and this should be seen by more people for sure :) will contact you when the video is up :))
Kristin Oladatter Steen oh well you are doing great when I see your followers :) I am one year old by now and done so many videos with tipps and tricks and fails...you do amazing :) I will give you a shout when my wing video is done and if you find something on my channel that you like let me know and I challenge you to give it a try in return :))
Kristen your work is absolutely beautiful I am so glad I found your Channel ,I can not wait to get caught up with your videos and I can not wait for the next one
Wow Kristin, you’re an inspiration, first time watching you and my art brain went a million places. Thanks so much, I’m so following you now. Pays to relax and surf UA-cam for inspiration. You certainly shared that, I’m amazed at how you think outside the box.
Thank you so much Norma, and much welcome to the channel! I hope you’ll find a lot of inspiration out here. That’s Why I’m here. And yes, it’s all toned down at my place. I like it slow...me and Mr Cohen💕
Although I was disappointed when the wings changed, it turned out very lovely and organic. It was, to me, like a sea creature. Thanks so much for sharing!
Hi I'm late getting to you. I call myself a no artist because I started painting at 9 and want to move to Alaska 30 years ago I hadn't touched a brush since now I'm a grandmother 14 live in a beautiful home with a beautiful view in an awesome state adopting a 1/2 year old what you're now 2 and 3 years old LOL they brought life back and I can't wait to start painting again and this is very interesting my first attempt with angel hair was awesome thank you guys for teaching us these techniques can't wait to show my stuff LOL CAJUN. ALASKAN QANON. PATRIOT AND ARTISTS
Wooooow!!! That's an amazing pour! And even though it does look like wings, with the color combination it also reminded me of the Lionfish fins. Beautiful done!
Sometimes we just get carried away with trying to do too much. It happens to all of us! The great thing about it is that we learn, each new piece, is a exploration!
Wow! On your first try! You were obviously meant to create the artwork and video. Very nice. Thank you so very much! I have an affinity for angels, and wanted to do exactly this.
Hi Kristin, as I was making the above comment, you kept pouring and when I looked again the birds head was gone!! LOL I love the pouring tho, it looks like way too much fun.
Kristin, first thank you so much for sharing your technique and answering everyone's questions! It took me 7, yes 7, attempts but I finally managed to get something resembling wings. I've had so much fun attempting this technique, and I just wanted to thank you! 💕
What I do appreciate especially about you videos, is the peace and music. I watched a whole lot of them and most of the time I turn the sound off… And in this case, as you mentioned it yourself, you didn't known when to stop. It is a common mistake I have noticed with sooo many painters. At one point I see a chef-d'oeuvre, seconds later it's gone. This is because the artist doesn't make a pause to step back and appreciate, as the viewer can with just a click. You have a great talent and a big quality: humility. I'll be watching you :).
Hello Jean-Pierre! Welcome and Thank you so much! Yes, I know.. everything is happening so fast in this art form that we do miss a lot Sometimes. That what the filming part most of all thought me..I see a lot that I didn’t notice during the Painting... and I get a LOT of new ideas. Keep on watching! I’m glad you enjoy it😃☀️
New subscriber here. I fell in love with your wings. Although I would have scraped the bottom off and pour white over it and not stretch so much and pour white along the sides. But what an awesome job. I'm going to give it a try. Thank you for sharing.
I like how she created something beautiful. Took her time. .had patience and care. . .and didnt just blob 10 gallons of paint all over the place. wasting all of it and making a mess. .spin it 'round and call it a day. She knew how to control the project rather than plopping it all together and hoping something cool happens
I actually like the “head and arms” effect at the top! Especially if it’s done for a pregnancy/infant loss group. Definitely gives me food for thought on future projects.
Hi I'm a new subscriber, I love what you did with the wings, absolutely breath taking!, I'm new at painting but you made this look easy but I bet it took time to achieve this look. I want to paint one and put it by my Dads cremains, thank you, you are an inspiration to everyone. Have a blessed day.
I found you again. This was the first ever pouring video I saw, and I was flabbergasted. Wow. It got me all started on pouring myself. So inspiration on this channel? Yep. TFS 💖🎈

Pam Sanders
Pam Sanders I’m so curious about whether you have made your Wings for the donation Pam?
That was the true meaning of poetry in motion. That was beautiful from start to finish. It was like an optical illusion, watching it transform from wings to a hurricane/tornado.

Hey Kristin, I’m in love with your creation of work. It’s amazingly beautiful.
Sometimes we just get carried away with trying to do too much. It happens to all of us! The great thing about it is that we learn, each new piece, is a exploration!
Yes, that is so true James! The filming is so great for that...being aware..and get plenty of new ideas as well😃
I find wings nearly impossible, can't figure it out!! But always end up with something real cool.
Yes, that’s so great! Ive seen so many beautiful resaults bursting from this teqnique😀
Thank you, I think it's paint consistently, and my pieces are large, just can't seem to get the white separation in the middle.

Kristin, first thank you so much for sharing your technique and answering everyone's questions! It took me 7, yes 7, attempts but I finally managed to get something resembling wings. I've had so much fun attempting this technique, and I just wanted to thank you! 💕
Wow Tasha, Thank you so much! I will check out your wings for sure! Just love seeing others work on this💕

I watched a whole lot of them and most of the time I turn the sound off… And in this case, as you mentioned it yourself, you didn't known when to stop. It is a common mistake I have noticed with sooo many painters. At one point I see a chef-d'oeuvre, seconds later it's gone.
