Had a session where I caught 3 giltheads, then the next night caught a 2lb4oz coalfish….new species for me from the shore…never had one in almost 18 years here😀😀😀👍👍🎣🎣🎣
That was some burst of activity. I'm well surprised with the energy those bass have in this cold weather. I certainly wouldn't mind having a session like that.
Hi mate yeah here in guernsey water temp doesn’t go much below 10 degrees that’s why we catch bass all year very lucky the bass we’re very active great fun 👍👍🎣
Great video, it's amazing when the Bass are in front of you like that. I had a similar session one night in the summer, I had 5 fish between 57cm and 69cm, snapped 18 inches off my rod on the second fish and after rigging up again caught 3 more in a row including the biggest one on a snapped rod with no tip ring. I lost a good 30 minutes sorting out the rod in the dark when it broke as it sliced through the braid too, but they were in front of me for a good hour. I reckon I could have had a dozen out if the rod hadn't broke that night. Memorable sessions are those.
i get so envious of you guys for the bass fishing this time of year, though it aint bad on the isle of wight at the moment seen quite a few lovely bass caught this week

Class video buddy! I’m pulling big mackerel out of Millbay docks at the moment so hopefully there’ll be basils in there too. Just picked up the SGS5 8’6”” so hoping to christen it soon. The SGS2 is working well though, roll on the better weather. All the best mate 👍😎
