happy new years- i fish seatrout mainly as im in denmark- for coastal fishing here we mainly use linethru woblers etc, very rarely jigs - is the use of the jigs to get the lure further down the watercolumn or ? or for snags ?
Yes and no. Tbh there are occasions where I’m ripping the jig through the high water column to look like the small Bait fish about. Just depends. On this occasion yes. The pollock are in the kelp/reef area so I’m trying to get it down but also on some occasions far
ok- im stuck with seatrouts only here- its a good 3 hr drive for seabass and not in the wintertime ;) no cod or pollock here to speak of. Since i dont mind doing short 3-5 day fishing trips, whens a good season on jersey for seabass ? or the best overall fishing season ? @@BeneathTheWavesFishingJersey
Really depends on what your doing, most of the time I use my Vass waders which are like rubber. Very strong. But if I’m doing lots of lure fishing walking around on sandy areas I’m using my lightweight stockings with boots
