The destructiveness in this game reminds me of Red Faction! I used to play split screen on ps2 with my bro, the devs hid op guns behind the walls
not so fast jorge, just cause run absolute worse, i remember i used all high + 4x aa backthen and constant 60fps, now its medium no aa and 30fps

Dx11 isnt optimized for multicore and is attempting to rely on the gigathread scheduler with nvidia gpus. Dx12 is the present/future and reaources will be spent there.
I mean you can optimize it for multicores but it takes too much time.
@@guyharris8007 dx11 doesnt support multithreaded rendering, only game logic which isnt where the bottleneck is at anyways

I would recommend everyone to try DX11 bcuz of the ray tracing.. but mainly on older gpus :)

DLAA is actually the best AA: Deep Learning Anti-Aliasing is the full name :) It blows any Temporal AA out of the water ;)
Yeah but it was also more intensive in this case and at 4K I didn't see a difference in quality at least 🙂

TAAU at 100% scaling just means it's using regular TAA anti aliasing. If DLAA isn't noticeably slower, then I'd probably use that instead since it will typically look better.
It's interesting that RTGI is enforced with DX12 enabled. And it's also interesting that it's the only RT feature supported. I would've liked to have seen RT reflections too since there seem to be a lot of glossy surfaces. Granted, most players wouldn't want to take the hit to performance in a multiplayer game, but maybe it would be nice for replays? (are there replays?)

Maybe "static ray tracing" means its disabled because the lights aren't dynamically ray traced but statically baked in?

DX11 with RT off also didn't see a big jump though.. weird setting
Is "Static" not the off setting for RT?
Also I don't think they can fix the input lag issue in frame generation, you need to hold the next frame to do the interpolation.
Was wondering this as well. I think static is the normal settings we all use. Don't have the game though, so can't say but I agree with you
It doesn't affect FPS by much, heck even dx11 with RT off was getting similar FPS in game
im not gonna say its badly optimized bcuz its early access but its just weirdly optimized:D some strange things going on in game
what an awesome cpu the ryzen 7 5800x3d is in multiplayer games, i can tell you im getting identical fps to yours when you are cpu bottlenecked, my rig is the rtx 3080 and 5800X3D but im playing at 1080p (gpu around is only at 50% usage though).
u could play at 1440p and get the same fps but much better graphics , watch more vids bro and learn how to get he best out of ur system !
ps 1440p is 79% more pixils compared to 1080p and isnt nowhere near as demanding as 4k ! id invest in in new moniter lol cuzz 1080p is trash when u have a 3080 !!!!!!!!!!

the only unliking thing about the top of the line graphics card is that , their benchmarking videos are not that interesting 🤔, because are always give very high fps (above 60 fps) even at 4k max setting.

The game looks good, however if system requirements and performance are not fixed, the game will die more quickly than Hyperscape. Multiplayer FPShooter needs to be playable with high FPS on a midrange PC which is 12400+3060 at this point of time.
What performance issues? This game would be easily playable on a mid range rig 1080p high framerate.

the 5800X3D seems more reasonable choice for an RTX4080 and you have that CPU ,so what was the reason for the combo we are seeing today ?

Most people will probably buy the 4080 with the i5 and it is slightly faster than the Ryzen when overclocked :)
@@zWORMzGaming True! MSI 4080 X Trio here paired with my old i5 11600K that I used with my 3070 previously. Don't feel the need to upgrade the rest of my system when I'm already getting 100+ fps @ 1440p (144 Hz) on almost every game with everything maxed out with max RT, except things like Cyberpunk and Hogwarts Legacy of course, and getting 150 to 200+ fps with DLSS 3 FG. Btw Wormz I love your channel and the fact that you cover all the latest games with the 4080 and so many other cards while also keeping it entertaining and engaging and showing real use cases (like totally maxed or totally low at many resolutions). Keep being awesome! :D
lol we do not live in the 2010s anymore, that i5 has 14 cores 20 threads, not 4 cores 4 threads.. it is not the CPU's fault that the game won't utilize more cores and threads
Player count will be low on release unless they can optimize it to run smoother.

On almoust evry single frame witch frame generation I se artefacts. But in real live speed it looks like "OK".

Game is Unreal Engine 5.0. So it's strange the game by default uses TAAU and not TSR.
Hopefully they update it to support TSR, Lumen, and Nanite

Imagine a card so expensive but still can't even do 4k native with the highest settings without using upscaling technologies. By the way, game looks fun and gorgeous
it can do that and runs quite well, but upscaling tech is the future, and this game is running in ue5, with a load of proper full features on max settings. a true current gen title, hopefully performance gets better over time but this isn’t horrible at all.

Bro thats what NVIDIA REFLEX is for…you can enable FG and just set Low Latency to Ultra + turn on Vsync in the Nvidia Control Panel…totally cancels out any input lag that FG introduces…

hi i have a problem i have a rx 5500 xt and i play fortnite when i put the game in performance mode my gpu utilization becomes 40% when i put the game on directx 11 it becomes the same problem when i put the game on directx 12 low settings the gpu utilization becomes 100% and it becomes My frame rate is 120. Please respond to this issue which has been bothering me a lot
Ive heard amd gpus perform better on dx12 and also fortnite is a cpu bound game.
The only thing I don't like is the too big weapon flashes. This is the first game where it looks a little annoying and can quickly provoke epilepsy.
Muzzle flash is too exaggerated! Makes focusing on targets a pain.
Is it even possible to fully utilize modern CPUs with a lot of threads on dx11? I was playing rise of the tomb raider with my 3060ti and dx11 and it was very very bad cpu side. It was below 60 at all settings with r5 3600 and above 100 on dx12

If you have a dedicated gpu you don't need integrated GPU
igpu is nice to have in case your gpu dies or sth, but if you are going for am4 dont get one. Every am5 has one and I hope you know how it is with intel

I'm just here to say that I can't play at 1080p@60 with my GTX 1060 6GB, even with all lowered.
6700xt here… i turned the settings to dx11 med just because amd and ray tracing is mehhh, and my frames went from 100 ish on dx12 to 50-60 on dx11… iv never seen anything like that before
It's because in DX11 is has a major CPU bottleneck, even my 13600K at 5.6ghz can't do more than 90 FPS in dx11. Crazy indeed

Which game do u play? And why dont OC? I mean u can get really nice gains and everybody can OC the card. Its literally standart. Also its fair to also make a OC benchmark. Often the OC benchmark shows which card really is the best bang for the buck.
Because overclocking on newer stuff is basically dead
And incase someone wanted to compare or get an idea if they should buy the card, as I assume most newer PC gamers don't know what overclocking is or at least don't care
@@younglingslayer2896 where do u got this information? OC is not dead on new cards lol. U still get a 10-15% performance increase when OCing the RTX4080. There are multiple tests on youtube proving this. Like from 90 fps to over 100 fps or from 107 to 118. There are more then enough overclocker channels which also OC the new cards into extreme numbers. Watch "Der 8auer" auf youtube.

removing a cpu bottleneck by adding additional work to do to the gpu is not exactly "removing a cpu bottleneck", it is "just maxing the gpu with additional work".
