Challenge time!! Let me know some more challenge suggestions...
Cool video. Here's a suggestion. Bug out in your girlfriends car and see if you can survive with what's in there for an overnight camp. Scenario would be... you borrowed her car to go sompeplace, the car broke down due to fuel issue on a remote road, and you needed to evacuate the car and make an overnight survival camp till help arrived. Which would be jaxx of course with a barrel of brandy around his neck.
anybody who puts them self in a survival situation with out a knife, and folding saw and a way to start a fire has no business hiking so far in the woods and get lost! So who ever is complaining about when you say that does not know what they are talking about and should not say anything at all!!! great video brother ! keep it up!
Look at how twisted that grain is, you're a wizard harry! - TA outdoors 2017
Good skills man, audio and visuals were a joy to behold.
For a winter survival challenge, try completely submerging yourself in sub freezing water, getting out and starting a fire from wood you still have to collect, without using an open flame as your ignition source. That is a true survival challenge, as even when you are prepared for it, the threat can be just as real in training.
Fantastic Video Mike. Thanks a lot. Please show us your ultimative one match fire trick...
Well done. Keep in mind that embers are hotter than the flames. A 'ring' of fresh wood surrounding a slightly lower pot, and shoved under when embers, will work faster.
Another great video. As a newcomer to bush camping I find these really helpful. Off on my first night out on Friday. Keep them coming
TA Outdoors! You should do an overnighter and you have to make 1:two different fires 2:catch a fish for dinner with no rod or bait. 3; show us how to make a bed like structure. I feel that would be very educational. And I feel would be fun
You should do a 2 stick fire challenge and half to start the fire with a bow drill
Much respect using this imo important little test in a new and improved light.
Symbiosis in action love it.
once again mike so simple and so effective real bushcraft👍
Mike would it had been easier if you left the branch in one piece as it was very long and lock one end in the ground and stick the other end through the kitchen window and put your pot over the gas cooker.
Yet another wonderful video to watch... I'll be down the woods tomorrow.... You give so many people the 'kick-start' inspiration to have a go themselves. Thankyou.
Great vid. One or 2 item overnighter. Say a blade and pot and the clothes on your back.
Pretty good. I first thought you were going to also make a bow drill to light the fire. Now that would be impressive.
Hey Mike kickass video again! My challenge is this how about 2 nights in the woodland the only tool you have is your mind, you must find and make shelter, rocks or something sharp in the woods as a cutting tool, build fire with the sunlight alone, and catch a squirl rabbit or small animal for food with a homeade snare,do you accept my challenge? Kickass mike talk to you soon say hi to Jax and dad
This is actually a pretty good challenge. I'll be giving this a shot the next time I go out.
