13:02 if you cast sanctuary on the torchbearer and have them be the only one in the room it's a free win, just remember to walk out of the air myrmidons' aoes.
Also you should be able to just do one remove curse on the shadow and it will get rid of all darkness
The Spirit Guardian failing to go off at 29:12 is due to a (probably intended, but badly worded) restriction on Spirit Guardians. The spell specifies that you can't be "invisible" while using it, but in reality you aren't allowed to be "untargetable" while it's active, or Spirit Guardians will be turned off.
For the Sanctuary spell this feels intended, since you would be knocked out of Sanctuary if you dealt damage with Spirit Guardians. Globe of Invulnerability doesn't state that you're untargetable though, but given that Ansur couldn't retaliate against characters in the globe it definitely does appear to apply an untargetable state.

After a humiliating 5 minutes of staring at that chess board finally figured it out and it's quite simple. For some reason I was thinking you needed to win the game in one move, but in this case you need two. Move your queen into the corner, the black king will be forced to move into the space between his pawns. Then move the queen again to line up with your castle. Yay.
I make that concentration mistakes with Haste ALL THE TIME on my bard bahahahaha!

Astarion can wear medium armour just fine with no downside. At this point of the game it's pretty easy to buy some half plate +2 which would be a significant upgrade for him.
I think dungen just needed an axe and he could be called Beast the savage by now 🤣
For the trial with the elementals you can send one person in, pick up the torch and cast sanctuary. Ez pz
If you get the room in the elfsong towern you can buy food inside youre room every day
Mind palace isn't the same as haste. Haste gives you an extra action and doubles your movement speed; mind palace allows you to mix and match your actions and bonus actions, expending them on whatever actions and bonus actions you wish to.
That sounds even cooler - does it leave you lethargic or anything?
If you leave it you'll get a debuff but it's for 1 turn I believe
I know you said that you're done recording this one, (Super excited to see the rest by the way). But you coulda saved yourself a few thousand gold I think if you had the very wizardly Dungen write the bubble shield down in his spell book. Correct me if I'm wrong though.
He definitely could have (if he hasn't already), he might've been trying to keep Dungen's concentration free to do other things? In the Ansur fight, the planar binding spell did end up doing quite a bit for him

Just wondering, is there a way to kill our Illithid company, free the gith prince and then do this quest? I just can't believe they put this dragon and all the trials in, with only this one out of killing him again. I mean, fight him sure, but why can't you choose between the two of them here and take the dragon into the future fights?
