    Hi Emma,
Wonderful lesson about common English collocation 'take'. I learn new things with you lesson and admire your work. Some other examples:
    1. Take care = we'll take care of them together.
    2. I take my responsibility to you and our children seriously.
    3. Take cover = come on, we can take cover in that barn over there!
    4. Take over = who will take over the leadership of the project?
    5. Take action = we must take action to cut vehicle emissions.
    6. Take it home = students will take home the finished products.
"When I was child I like to read horror stories."
    Thank you.

I take an interest in learning English, so I always take the advice of your channel since. I Know to be a fluent speaker takes time.
If I take it from you, It will be short no matter if I have to study in place take time off. I would rather take a lesson online with your videos and study by myself than go to school.
I appreciate it if you can take a look at this little practice of cognates. I learned it on your channel because the actions speak louder than words, also if I want to be fluent in English. I need to don´t lose a moment to practice my skills. It helps me to take it easy this learning process.
Thankful for sharing your with of all us your knowledge.

      Prabhu A Hi there!
If you took the chance to make a joke ...sorry, it wasn't funny at all.
If you're talking seriousely simply say: granma died, or passed away,
To me the idiom Kick the bucket (quite old-fashioned, btw.) seems a bit misplaced when we talk about someone's beloved person. Your friend took hard his loss. He's struck by his granma's departure.

    • @prabhua5690
      @prabhua5690 5 років тому

@@DJ-gl8rw Thank you for your reply. First of all I had no intention of making fun on serious issues. This sentence was just to practice the collocation. It wasn't a real story.
Now only I know kick the bucket is a fun way of referring the death of someone.
