I am doing my 3rd Brick Festival in Birmingham - Its a long day and a great way to meet other Lego fans, I always sell loads and it funds my collection.
Great video, the more I watch the Brick Festival seller's videos the more tempted I am to go to one myself! Do you have any plans to do an Ian's Bricks style breakdown of costs- for example, did the cost of the table offset the fees and postage/packaging you would have paid on Ebay? Especially for the smaller sets, did you find enough profit margin in them or were they more for enticing people to the table for the bigger purchases? Would love to hear your thoughts!
I did see you there. Can I say I was going to look through the mini figure box’s but thought I’m not rummaging through that lot. I didn’t see there was a list so maybe put it standing up at back of box.
I have just watched this and Wow i need to go to one of these, I have brought some items from you from brick link and it has been a pleasure, That F35 Build was awesome, I`m going to get the plans and build that. I enjoyed your video. I will be ordering from you again real soon. you take care.
I see a ton of similar vendors, as they have inventory thats within the same time frame/retirement period. How do you separate your stall from others when selling in person amongst reseller competition? Looks great and happy that you had success. Appreciate the channel and your insights!
Looks like had a really good time, been toying with idea of doing one myself to clear mostly GWP, have been watching Iain's Bricks but seeing it worked so well for you too may have convinced me.
Great video Fred. Glad to see you had an enjoyable and successful day. I love going to these events and at the moment it's the only place I sell Lego. I may have to invest in a better card reader - sounds like yours worked really well. Nice to see you using the plastic bag technique as well - I should have patented that idea! Lol!
Hey Fred, what about wrapping the box in cling film (to keep food fresh in the fridge), in case of dirty fingers leaving grease on it, you could re-film it if needed. I enjoyed the video. Cheers.
no that would look to cheap in my opinion.. also wouldnt offer too much protection in the boxes and if you wrap around multiple times it's not fully transparant and also very reflective under lighting.. It's not only done for dirty fingers alone.. I also include a business card in every box this way.
Hi ya great video i was wondering, wirh varying sizes in boxes where you obtain the coverings for the boxes please? I assume theyre like zip lock freezer bags. Any help would be greatly appreciated, thank you.
