Good tier list. I mostly agree with it so far. I especially liked how you show which cards came from which packs. I don't think anyone else has shown that yet and it's really helpful information.
I started playing this game today thanks to you. It's fun to collect the cards and open packs. The drawings are really very, very well done. The only thing that bothers me about it is the long waiting time to open new packs.
Awesome video! I love how informative and in-depth you went, it's super helpful to have something like this to help get settled into how the game is played and what's good. I've been working on Pikachu EX, but happened to open a few Arcanine EX first, so I've swapped over to Charizard packs and might try out that Moltres list you showed. Great stuff, thank you!
Hi marshy it's me your number 1 hearthstone fan who also started trying out this game and pokemon tcg in general thanks to you. Looking forward to seeing your fun decks!
Just started yesterday because of your videos and it's been great so far! I am lucky enough to have packed 2 mewtwos and gardevoirs day 1 so can already run your list. I think I can't defend playing in beginners bracket anymore...
The moltres-charizard deck really suffers because moltres is electric weak. Generally guarantees any pikachu deck will shut you down before you can get charizard set up, since zapdos and pikachu are good into moltres. Also, dragonite weezing is probably the best budget deck, and the most fun. All cards in the same packs, and no EX cards, so you can spend pack points if needed to fill in.
I just started playing and built a Marowak EX deck even before seeing this video, my questions are what makes cards like Farfetch’d and Giovanni playable, and could Grapploct and/or Hitmonlee have any place in the Marowak deck?
Gio helps hit breakpoints, Farfetchd just does a lot of damage for one energy on a basic. Hitmonlee is okay, but it only hitting bench makes it a situational card. Grapploct is too easy to ko for the large energy investment imo.
Can Pokemons EX evolve? Most of them look like final state evolutions or Legendaries. Maybe Pikachu is a final state evolution and Raichu was just a febril dream. (Asking for the alghoritm; I highly doubt I'm going to end up playing this game. It feels a little too lineal at the moment. For what I see all decks have two copies of mostly the exact same Neutral cards, so decks looks like just having a few different cards in the pokemons, and most pokemon abilities looks like to do the same thing, which is deal flat damage, so I feel that there is not going to be enough variability and deckbuildingability to keep me invested in the long run. Maybe when they add more cards.)
Nothing evolves from pikachu ex right now, but sometimes they have special mechanics. The decks are all samesies right now cause there arent many cards, itll get much more dynamic when there are more options.
how does one aquire more assistant card. in your video it says to open whatever pack they are from but that pack is unavailable. is there a minimum level or something im missing?
Do you mean things like Professor’s Research and Potion? Those are available in the shop for shop tickets, scroll to the bottom of the first shop page.
You can see which pack theyre pulled from on the right side of the lists in this video, in game when you look at a card you can scroll down to see the pack as well.
Opening packs and collecting things is fun (just like with the real cards 25 years ago) but the actual game is horrible, lol. Every game takes 3 times longer than it needs to and half of the games are decided by a coin toss. Big yikes. Hopefully they can steer away from the combat part completely and focus more on the collection aspect. This is going to be really problematic otherwise after the honeymoon phase wears off
@syllo-sg3mx Why my decks? lol. I played like 12-15 games online today and got shut downed twice by Articuno+Misty turn 1 with two heads alone. This game will die faster than you can blink if they don't course correct and an attitude like yours is only going to speed up that process. The game has massive, massive problems
@@deliro8758Everyone agrees Misty is a big problem, but it feels like that could be fixed by a nerf to that one specific card and not indicative of the game as a whole
@@VGV1deo It is indicative of the problem as a whole though. The game has barely any dials for balancing. The game is built around 50/50s. You also either kill in 1, 2 or 3 hits, reducing power has no effect in match ups or it requires twice as many hits, it's all very heavy handed. I don't know man, this community needs to get it together. Very quickly. Misty is a symptom but the underlying problems are showing in every element.

Agree to this. Funny how its the simple thing that makes the content much easier to put into use. Keep it up my man!

Yes! Marti tierlist for Pocket!!! Excited for more of this type of content in the future.
This video is doing numbers! Hoping for the trend to continue as the game grows

Dude Weezing/Golem is insane, haven't seen it or heard about it before.
Thank you! That was very informative
Thank you Mr.Buu, that's EXACTLY what I needed!!!

This is probably the best video I've seen TODAY (I just woke up)
Brother red card is incredible

I think a very good different meta pika deck I made, includes normal pjka with pika EX and raichu with lt surge to surprise OHKO the tanky mons
Thank you, that was very detailed and helpful! I just wish I had seen it before I opened so many Charizard packs ^^'
the marowak your missing the fossil variant and dugtrio variant your using the budget version. try pokemon zone
What’s the best pack for dark type Pokemon?
Weezing is the best (only good?) Dark pokemon so far and its in the mewtwo pack.

EX pokemon are basic or final evolution

I made my second account today and I got 1 zapdos should I delete it?
Im not the best reroll coach but if you opened everything and thats all you got it doesnt sound like much
i absolutely hate starmie decks that have articuno and misty, cus misty just gives my enemies 2 or 3 heads 😢
