    Jogasaki Coast (城ヶ崎海岸, Jōgasaki Kaigan)
The Jogasaki Coast is a rugged volcanic cliff coastline on the eastern shore of the Izu Peninsula.
Four thousand years ago, due to the eruption of Mt. Omuro, a massive lava flow cascaded down the eastern coast of the Izu Peninsula. Molten rock surged into the sea, and created a jagged coastline filled with hidden coves and tide pools.
There is an attractive hiking trail going along the Jogasaki Coast. While hiking you will get views of cliffs and lava formations.
You can enjoy the wide jogasaki coast.
Here is Kadowaki Suspension Bridge. It’s a hanging bridge.
This Kadowaki Suspension Bridge is 23 meters long and 48 meters high. This red pedestrian bridge spans a small cove between the cliffs.
It hangs above a small arm of the sea and sharp rocks. From here you can see underneath rocks and thrashing waves.
Here you can enjoy the rugged coastline more closely.
The best part of the Jogasaki coast is that you can enjoy walking on the rocky cliffs, you can sit and have fun with your family and friends.
On a sunny day, you can see 7islads from here.
Kadowaki Lighthouse is 24.9 meters in height. The lighthouse has a free observatory with a great view of the beautiful coastline and Oshima Island.
    Dogashima (堂ヶ島, Dōgashima)
Dogashima is in the western part of the Izu peninsula. This place is famous for its dramatic stone formation, cliffs, caves, and beautiful clear blue ocean. Cliffs and caves are formed by the lava flow of the past volcanic eruptions and shoreline erosion.
Hundreds of years ago Dogashima was on the seabed. The pumice (pa-mice) is formed due to the Underwater volcano and accumulated ashes protrude upwards and create the white cliff. Rock veins are formed by the cooled and hardened magma.
At low tide, a strip of land appears between the mainland and the closest island. This place is called Tombolo Land Bridge. In a day almost for an hour, visitors can actually walk and reach the islands without getting feet wet. You can take a cruise boat to enter the large Tensodo Cave.
    Shirahama Beach (白浜)
Shirahama Beach is in the southern part of the Izu peninsula and it is one of the most famous and popular attractions of Izu. Shirahama Beach is perfect for sunbathing, surfing, swimming, snorkeling, or just chilling. This 800-meter long beach is extremely popular in the summer. Shirahama means white sand beach.
Enjoy the amazing Izu Shimoda beach of Japan. It is the best beach in izu, due to the white sands and crystal clear waters.
This red torii gate is in the part of Shirahama Jinja Shrine. As the red-colored gate stands right next to the ocean so the contrasting color of red and ocean blue looks more beautiful. This spot is popular for taking photos and enjoying the scenery.
