It is Christmas I should be happy and do put that front for my family. Yet in my room, tears simply cannot stop falling. Tomorrow, the day after Christmas, I am having my 27th bone cancer surgery. Another is scheduled in February, after I have healed from this one. This song is saved on my tablet. I listen to it as I pray and cry while in private prior to surgery and my family coming to see me. My family will start playing this song when I start to wake up and keep it on repeat until I am lucid and can smile and say "hey.. I missed you". I like Josh's version, but the purity of your four voices and a piano gives me comfort and strength. Thank you for this. I'll see you in the morning and then again later that night.

Hi “Anthem Lights” guys.. 😢😢😢 since last September after Bowel Cancer surgery and 6 months Chemo. I’ve prayed and listened to the Holy hymns . I’m also part of the Choir at my church. I couldn’t sing in church during that period but your hymns kept me close to our Lord.. thank you from the bottom of my heart.🥲🥲❤️❤️❤️ He was there throughout my ordeal as the surgeon while I was in recovery said to my wife: I’ve never ever experienced this in my entire 30 years career.. your husband’s heart beat and BP remained in one straight line without any help. Even the anaesthetic was surprised. When I woke up, he again told me. With tears flowing down my cheeks. I looked up and murmured: HE above was next to me.. ❤️❤️❤️😢😢😢 He touched me on the shoulder saying: I truly believe you. Amen.🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻

A week before my birthday I got word my dogs health was failing and ten days after my birthday me being the fighter and trying to save his life not willing to giving up. Though he was fighting to stay. I just looked at him and told him “ it’s okay go home, go home to be with god “. Knowing there was nothing i could do I held him and sang the original song and mid way through the song he passed away in my arms. This song is bittersweet to me.
