I have mixed feelings about this I was a 17 year young woman and knew not to mess with men that old. At the end of the day I don’t like the narrative that young women are naive and to dumb to understand consequences, I blame the parents for not teaching their girls better. But I don’t agree with always blaming the man more
Now Judge can always see the tears in peoples eyes but couldn't see that the girl in that second case didn't have a voice and was nervous , uncomfortable and scared?

It irritates me how when they have these angry, disrespectful young women come on yelling and ready to throw down, Judge sees the tears in their eyes and coddles them. But you get a shy girl who won't defend herself or even raise her voice, and she's a liar according to the judge. For all the judge keeps saying about how paternity court is about helping people, I sometimes I think it's about the ratings.
In that second case, I’m sad for her. She doesn’t have a voice and someone took it from her a long time ago.

The 2nd case: you can tell the 21yo never had anybody to advocate for her. And nobody to show her how to advocate for herself. So she gets bullied into saying things that aren’t true. I hope baby girl finds her strength and voice.

Thank you. I was saying the entire time , I think she didn't know for other reasons. I think she was taken advantage of. She was 18 and drinking, and a 45 year old man picked her up off the street. The mama should be more mad at him than her. The whole thing broke my heart

It's disgusting, and he knew what he was doing. Up there with his mama, laughing. It's sick. She was barely an adult, and yes, she should be held accountable. However, HE definitely knew better. And based on her shaking and barely looking at him and being alone in court, there is more to this story.

Truthfully, sometimes mothers being there isn’t a bad thing. In this case, she was well needed. She helped call out another lie the plaintiff told.

2nd case: Poor young woman being bashed by everyone including the Judge 😢💔
Now Judge Lake shouldn't have put words in that woman's mouth (2nd case). It was so heartbreaking to see her say those words. She looked so scared, and prolly has self-esteem issues. And she DID know who her child's father was.
She definitely knew. I think something esle happened between them.

I felt like she was saying what the judge wanted because she was trapped. Her smile was uncomfortable nervousness to me.

The last case that girl was most likely just extremely shy and scared to death to be in front of a judge and other people. And the judge basically bullied her into saying she didn't know who her baby's father was when she said she did the whole time! Judge need to calm down.

The judge is usually very accurate, but not with this one. I was surprised that the judge didn't realize that the 21 year old was lost & confused. She needed a hug & then some guidance.

I was so disappointed to see how the judge berated the young girl. She is young and has three adults against her. And at the end the judge forced her to say what she wanted her to instead of saying “I’m sorry for calling you a liar”! This one really hurt my heart!
I felt bad until i heard how she met a random man and moved in with him after knowing him for a day and then having another man sign the birth certificate. Shes young but doesnt have any business having kids if she cant even speak up for herself
No, she was giving her some hard truth as an elder woman. Some people don't have ANYBODY in their life to tell them this behavior isn't right. She was telling her what she needs to hear. She didn't just break her down, she also lifted her up. She gathered the man together too. They both look a little "touched."

The judge was absolutely wrong in the second case... The judge felt she was lying but for a fact, the lady knew he was the father... She's either intimidated or shes not the outspoken person.... The judge should have done better than making her say what she didn't want to say...
Judge that was not a gift. He was not only taking care of the one he was taking care of all of them. He deserved the money back.

Y’all not understanding. This court acts upon the interests of the child(ren). She’s not going to make someone essentially give back things that provided for a child. That’s why people don’t get child support back that was paid to the state especially if the mother used public assistance. SOMEONE has to pay it, if y’all not being responsible with your intimate encounters, signing birth certificates, etc… the state wins.

2nd case: Judge Lauren was dead wrong. Jumping down on her but not saying nothing to the perv. She forced that girl to say she didn't know who the father was. She looked so scared and nervous.

The second case, the judge was dead wrong. The 21 year old said from the beginning that she had no doubt that he was the father then she basically put words in her mouth by making her say that she had doubt not once but twice. That 48 year old man is a predator preying on young girls but God works in mysterious ways. He better hope someone doesn't do his daughter like he did his daughter's mom. Really shocked Judge about your commentary towards the young girl. Some of it needed to be said, but rightfully he should have been reprimanded for being 45 preying on a 19 year old girl. This first Mom is childish. She tells the alleged father of her children that he is NOT the father "just to make him mad" she says, and then she gets mad at him and RESENTS IT when he gives her exactly what she wants and HE DOES get angry and now has doubts about being the children's father and wants all the money back that he has spent caring for the child. YOU put that doubt in his head, sweetheart. Now, you have to live with the consequences of that choice, even if you are positive he IS your daughter's father. And you only cement his doubts when you DON'T tell him you are pregnant (and you kept this secret because you were cheating on him) and then, the man you are cheating with writes him a letter BRAGGING to him that HE is this precious child's Daddy and claiming he's the father in pictures and claiming that HE is the father by signing her birth certificate. Seems like your ex is saying HE'S the Dad ad NOT Mr. Hopkins. Your actions speak for you, Madam, and they don't paint a very pretty picture of your character as a mother. The reason WHY you were so nervous about revealing the paternity is you DON'T know for sure if this man is your daughter's father (that, or you are positive its the other guy) but you don't want to ruin your family.
The judge totally MISJUDGED this case!! That mother is clearly special needs and the father appears to be also. The judge was very unprofessional in this case. She usually shows better understanding. She had a real off day in this case. She made the girl say something she didn't believe. She knew that old man was the daddy. The girl never had a doubt. She just couldn't express it clearly because she's Special Ed. It's clear as day. The judge must have needed more sleep or something. This is an example of authority gone awry! Scary!! 😬🙄😳

A 21 year old with a 3 year old could have been a minor at the time of conception. They both present with needs and delayed processing/ impacted judgement but that's no excuse.

I too had a C section and yes there are things I myself don't remember that happened after they took my son out. I remember my Dr raising my son up so I could see him and I SERIOUSLY passed out. My mom told me my son had a problem with his blood sugar level, and she made decisions for me but I don't remember any of that. So yes, women who have C sections can be out of it. I'M LIVING PROOF
