Tim is an amazing person and LCS. I went to the shop last summer and traded in a bunch of 5oz bars to get a tube of Maples. I called on a Thursday but couldn't get there until Saturday. I showed up, and sure enough, he had written SOLD on top of one of the tubes knowing I was coming from 3 hours away. I had never met him or spoken with him prior. He's honest, straight up, and willing to take someone's word at face value. Not too many people do business in the old ways anymore. It's refreshing in the world we live in. Please buy from him when you can.

I had no idea that the Fed could raise its balance sheet from $3.7 trillion to $8.9 trillion in two years, and gold would stay under $2,000 and silver under $30. I guess I can’t blame them for doing it if they’re going to get away with it. Crazy. I’m still stacking as I think reality will set in eventually.

He’s been as accurate as anyone I’ve listened to.
Tim's advice to his daughter is spot on, pay down your debt. The days of over leverage yourself financially is gone, the ones that are debt free will survive this stagflation. Great video.
As mentioned below, Tim is an absolute national treasure. A few weeks ago I had left him a message and he returned my call one evening and we spoke for over 2 hours. I mentioned to Yankee it was like talking to my father or grandfather whom are now both deceased. Lol, after I realized how long we had been talking I was like hey lets talk prices! He is extremely patient and is just like what he appears on the videos. Wish I was closer to him as I would be in his shop a few times a week just to be a fly on the wall!

Ive been seeing Tim for 20 years now maybe a couple more but when I was younger I noticed when you bring him metals to cash in he gives you spot price for whatever you have no Haggling no well how much are you looking to get out of this? He is genuine and straight forward and the absolute most fair Businessman Ive ever delt with. Ive bought a Beautiful Metal Detector from him bought and sold coins many times over the years and sometimes even look for a reason to just go hear him speak for a few . GREAT GUY
Debt free is the way to be. Period. Once you are debt free the concerns, frustrations, threat of losing your home are greatly reduced. If you make a financial mistake when debt free it's not such a hard sting. You won't lose everything. I'm enjoying the channel and have been watching a lot in the past week.

Good discussion. When I get extra cash, I also consider whether I should pay down the mortgage or buy precious metals. Metals could be stolen, be lost in a fire, be confiscated, etc., but if the dollar collapses, they'd be good to have. On the flip side, I hate debt. We have a good mortgage rate, and as long as we can continue to pay with dollars (under normal circumstances), I'd say it's better to put money into metals. You have to consider whether you think the real estate market will tank, the stock market will tank, the dollar will tank, what the price of metals will do, we enter a Mad Max scenario and be at the mercy of the government for necessities, how close you are to retirement, and so forth. There's not one right answer for everyone, I don't think.
If they are lost in a fire....you still have MELT VALUE..which is ALWAYS spot price. You will however lose value if it were appraised as a more valuable coin. Melt value will always exist...even if it's just one big melted , silver blob.
I agree that the Krugerrand is a great coin but in Canada fewer people want them because of the tax implications. I learned that pretty fast as an American living in Canada. Love the Tim videos. Thanks, Yankee!
I was so glad to hear Tim talk about the $5 & $10 gold commemorative coins. He's spot on about those coins being cheaper than pre 33 but having the same purity. I bought a bunch of the $5 coins off a guy locally for melt. It's the best deal on gold I've found in the last 2.5 years. The days of buying gold pesos and LMU coins for a little under spot are long gone.

I enjoy everyone of these videos and appreciate you guys for your time and effort. I have had others describe me that way. I believe in being honest and transparent as possible and I have seven very special customers that I’ve had since 1988.
I've been to dealers who won't even give you the time of day, an treat you like an idiot. Both in person and on the phone. Look at you like your going to steal them blind. I never go back. And I find one like Tim who are willing to talk explain to you what they have, and I'm going to answer questions that you have about a coin you may or may not have but are interested in I go back! I usually want it buying something or many times selling them something that they have been looking for for a long time.
Love your videos keep them coming. Especially ones with Tim in them. He is such a genuine man. I really enjoy listening to what he has to say. Can't have too much Tim, the man in video Gold!
Other than some no big deal coins and Englehard 1 oz bars all bought in the 1980's, I've not been stacking until this year. Needless to say, it's not been a good year for any assets. Right now, cash is a good thing to have but if one waits to buy PMs until everyone else is trying to, good luck.
I started stacking this year too, with the goal of moving 20% of my wealth into silver and 5% into gold. I'm almost there! PMs are something I'll hold long term, I'm not interested in turning a profit, just preserving wealth.

He does. Sends it insured via priority mail. He charges for shipping but he has competitive prices and I just like supporting a good dealer. He is WAAY better than some of my LCS guys.
I expected a dealer like Tim after watching several of your vids. Unfortunately my LCS dealer seems to not be very knowledgeable (he knows and sells only ASE and Gold coins). When asking questions about how much over spot he buys Kangaroos for he said "I rarely pay over spot for coins that are not backed by a government." At that point, I thanked him for his time and exited the store. Sadly it is the only LCS in my area.

Most UA-cam silver stackers say that fractional silver rounds are the Worst silver to buy. However when you factor in how high the premiums currently are on constitutional silver, fractional silver rounds don’t seem too bad. For example, the Golden State Mint has 1/10 oz, 1/4 oz, and 1/2 oz, rounds for sale on their website. The 1/10 oz rounds are definitely too expensive, they currently come in at 40$ an oz. But the 1/4 oz and the 1/2 oz rounds come in at 29-30$ an oz. About the same as constitutional 20x-23x from the websites I have looked at. What are your thoughts on stacking those instead of junk silver? I see a couple benefits. It’s BU silver. It is easier to explain how much silver you have to someone less experienced, when potentially bargaining. And it’s 999 fine silver. Thanks for your videos I really learn a lot from them!

So true, in Australia, 10% GST is added to anything less than 99.6 pure gold or 99.5 for silver. no point paying an extra 280 for nothing.

Most UA-cam silver stackers say that fractional silver rounds are the Worst silver to buy. However when you factor in how high the premiums currently are on constitutional silver, fractional silver rounds don’t seem too bad. For example, the Golden State Mint has 1/10 oz, 1/4 oz, and 1/2 oz, rounds for sale on their website. The 1/10 oz rounds are definitely too expensive, they currently come in at 40$ an oz. But the 1/4 oz and the 1/2 oz rounds come in at 29-30$ an oz. About the same as constitutional 20x-23x from the websites I have looked at. What are your thoughts on stacking those instead of junk silver? I see a couple benefits. It’s BU silver. It is easier to explain how much silver you have to someone less experienced, when potentially bargaining. And it’s 999 fine silver.
