I am just about build complete with this jet, waiting on one more part from Pilot-RC then she is ready for maiden. hopefully in the next week or two so stay tuned.
From what I’ve noticed when I received my composite jets from them. The box has been opened and they inspected contents easily accessible. The fuselage usually is buried at the button and there are foam supports that needs to be cut out to get to it. I have not seen signs of the fuselage being pulled out for inspection. The hard to inspect parts are visually inspected.
EDF conversion is possible with this jet light weight and plenty of room in the compartment for a14-16s setup. Modifications to convert to edf will have to be done by the customer which shouldn't be too hard to do.
3K is about the average cost of a full composite jet in the 1.8m size. this one is the PNP version with retracts/brakes, servos installed, thrust tube and fuel tank. There is a cheaper Foam version made by AeroFoam which flys exeptionally well at half the price of the Pilot-RC BAE Hawk.
Beautiful!! Nice video!

Very beautifull jet! Question; can you fly it with a 120 or 128mm edf?
