does anyone know how this compares to the google silicon case
It's a decent case, but is NOT for those who drop their phone a ton. I rarely ever drop my phones, so for me it's decent enough, although due to the almost non-existent front lip, I might pony up and get a screen protector now. Also, this thing attracts GREASE and fingerprints like nobody's business (black color)!! I'm not a grease-ball, and do take regular showers lol, but this case looks extremely greasy after just one day of use, and is not easy to clean off. Looks gross IMO. This case is maybe worth $25-30 IMO, but not the $45 on the Google store, and definitely not the $60 price tag on the MOUS site.
i don't get the why there's a price difference in the Google site and the Mous site, its odd.

This case wasnt made to protect the phone its more for scratches amd for people that want the minimal style that feels like the phone

Something u didnt speak about was if the case will allow the phone to charge while on the Pixel Stand 2? I have another mag safe case for my Pixel 8 Pro and it will not charge while on the stand. I would like to know this before buying it. Thanks.

@@eskaterboi yeah it sucks that pixel case is so finicky because the other mous cases won't work on it
the cuts outs in corner are to stop the case cracking at the corners.
the notches are typically there for snapping ability. The snap-on cases are tighter than the actual phone and the opening allows it to snap over the phone. You could also of course say it prevents cracking.
Thanks, but just suggesting that maybe next time you can do a close up 360 to see the height of things like the lip around the screen or camera lens.

Sorry to hear that. I was actually looking into getting the iPhone 15 Pro Max version but it’s constantly sold out. Your comment has put me off it and so I decided to get a PhoneRebel Flex 15 in Aramid fibre instead which I’ve just ordered.
most cases that are from bigger companies such as casetify rhinoshield and mous have branding.
