I had the walnut case on my pixel 4a5g for about 3 years and it held up amazingly well. This was my favorite case before upgrading to the pixel 8 and now I'm case shopping again. The sides look "bent" for two reasons, first to have 'lay on table' functionality and second for your thumbs to effortlessly glide across the screen without hitting the edges. This is the only case that I've noticed has this feature and should really be on more cases.
Man your P8 Obisidian looks extra shiny and I like it. I just ordered a Hazel color but had a little regret now.
I prefer the Speckled Fabric. Tried it a few years ago after having Walnut on previous cases, and the fabric texture is relaly plasant. The Walmut does age well and gains chsracter from drops and bumps over time.

I have the same case on my S23 Plus in walnut as well, it's a very high quality case!
Test it on the pixel stand 2. The magnets seem to interfere with the charging stand.
Hi do you use a screen protector with this case or do the raised edges do enough to protect the screen?
I just don't see myself using the magnets/ accessories on a case like this. Why I haven't ever bought one.
Loads of people don't. But you don't even know they are there. And the option is always there if you change your mind.
How is the lip on the sides? coming from pixel 7 pro, I keep hitting the lip on the Torras case on my Pixel 8 pro, when I swipe to switch apps. I'm wondering how big of a lip this one has

$65 for a phone case?
65 dollars to protect a 800 dollar phone isn't really alot...you have to understand how these things work, alot of other cases Don't have that green tpe material lined on the insides of the case, that green material absorbs shocks really well keeping the internals of your phone safer compared to other cases, plus it's made out of premium materials and with magnets built in, go do a test with a mous case and a supcase or otterbox and I guarantee you the mous will protect the phone better, it's a simple case of you get what you pay for, if you can afford a 800 or 1000 or 1300 dollar phone then 65 bucks to protect it isn't a big deal.
