This game looks really good ( by NES standards) and the music is really catchy. The bosses even look pretty good, something that can't be said about a lot of NES bosses.
For those of us who are old enough to know why it was renamed Pokémon Also it's funny seeing better cape physics in this game when 3D games still have them wig out and clip through everything in 2017

Anybody notice the cape on the sprite? When you idle, it takes a while to settle. Nice touch! And the TV graphics for the final boss were trippy AF!

Yeah, I think Konomi was one of the best developers back then.
Konomi went down hill when it began focusing solely on the metal gear series and nothing else it started neglecting and ignoring all its other IPs

I thought this game looked stupid until I saw the final boss. Now I know it's AMAZING.
I couldn't take the player character seriously. He was slapping the monsters to death. XD

The second boss was The Yeti, not Bigfoot. Difference is the atmosphere it lives in.
