Thank you so much joe! Really good guide! very clearly explained! The guide is so good, even I might finally see the treasure room armed with this info!
Great guide, would love to see other ways of consistently getting into the pog tank though, it's not often that I'm running with a full team of super experienced players. I usually have to start the pog tank on the fly by running to one of her corners and then clicking to run under her during the one tick she is idle after her attack animation ends.
@@TheDragonSlaayer absolutely! This guide is mostly meant to get you practicing the movement for it and also the most practical way to get into it! Remember that as long as you’re tank, you don’t need anyone else pog tanking to do this method! One of my next videos is a “TOB advanced tips and tricks” video and I’ve already planned on focusing on pog tanking coming out of yellows and such! Thanks for the suggestion
Very nicely explained, amazing video! Could you make a similar video for xarpus melee'ing correctly? I'd love to get into HMT and melee xarpus is something I struggle to learn from other guides. This format was super easy to understand and very informative 👌
It will be in one of the videos I’m working on currently! The title will be something like “TOB advanced tips and tricks”! This one is a little tougher to get clips for so it might be a little while but rest assured I am working on it!
It looks like you sometimes use your arrow keys to move the camera. Do you have any tips to easily configure using your keyboard to rotate camera while also using F-keys? How do you do it/have it set up?
@@Sonder5801 yes! I use the key remapping runelite plugin! The downside is that you have to press enter before typing to other players, but the upside is I have WASD to control the camera when middle mouse button becomes less convenient (awakened leviathan). I then have the F-Keys all rebound to my normal first person shooter keybinds and even mouse buttons (I.E. Q,E,R,T, etc..)
Yeahhh I more or less agree with you! The best trainers we used to have were things like the soteseg maze trainer which looks like Tetris. Even though it does seem a bit OP, jagex has been notoriously unhappy with how hard TOB is to get into compared to the other raids (which I think is a good thing) so they might not actually mind a verzik trainer! I did try to provide some practice methods outside of the sim as well! When I learned, I didn’t know the sim even existed.
@@joewatermelon for me it's as follows . I don't blame people for using sims if they were there when I got my inferno, colo , vlood totva etc I would of 110% used them but it still does not change the fact that they are wrong , it took me like 9 zuks to get my first inferno with a sim that would of been cut in half for sure , I just think it's wrong that you can pratice something your really shouldn't be able to it takes away the difficulties of the boss completely!
I thought I'd share some tips. The easiest trick to learning the pogtank is to start by unironically eating the first purple if you start post webs, because it is otherwise very hard to get practice in if you can never get into position to start. By eating a purple you do not have to worry about positioning since it's essentially "free". Then all you need to do is just time the attack and start the cycle. Hell even melee your mates if you have to. The other trick is to condition yourself into thinking runescape is a tile game. You'll never be off cycle as long as you stare at tiles. Your character is a figment of your imagination
May all of your tanks be pog.

I watched this video and am now involved in the elite TOB community, thank you!
Will be trying this very soon, thank you!

as a fellow pogger, i approve of this message
Good resource to get people exposed to pog tank. Once learned it makes every verzik that much more fun. Makes hmt way more fun too
POGGIES.
was there a recent change to low detail mode that makes the floor show the stupid patterns, rather than the clean black floor?
@@gus9168 yeah about 3 weeks ago it reverted low detail mode in verzik for some reason
good vid
Could you tell me the number of your red tile?
Last north hit must be claw scratch or spec? It cant be scythe?
@@yifeigu8231 correct! It needs to be a 4-tick hit

xarpus melle scy sim?
pogtank
This is a troll method right? Like you get melees all the time
@@MrDizzymauler sorry what are you asking?
If you do this method exactly as in the video, it is impossible for her to melee at all.
If you arent pog-tanking, are you even tobbing?

Nice video but now i preffer to stay away from TOB even more😅
Fuck that haha
