High End Easy & Inexpensive Door Swag Centerpiece Garland DIY Christmas Wreath using a Yardstick

- Merry Christmas! In this video I show you how to take a yardstick and turn it into a gorgeous centerpiece, door swag or garland.
Materials Needed
1 yardstick
1 roll 10 inch deco mesh
cut mesh at 20 inches
1 roll of ribbon
cut ribbon at 12 inches
You will also need ribbon for a large bow.
pipe cleaners
wire cutters
shatterproof Christmas ornaments
hot glue gun and glue sticks
scissors
Christmas floral picks
foam
wire
mesh tubing

I just knew there had to be another way to make a swag or center piece without using Dollar Tree Christmas trees as the base. I. was really excited to hear about the paint stick idea. Enjoyed this tutorial.

That is just beautiful. I made two Christmas wreaths in 2021. One red/white w flocked pine, red berries, candy cane, red matte/shiny glass ornaments. The second the same with pink and gold. Velvet ribbon of crummy quality from Michael's. Both turned out gorgeous. I made bows, as my Mom taught me like a florist would make. Your bows are much easier.

I have watched a number of you tube videos using a yardstick to make a centerpiece. I like yours the best because you use foam in the middle to decorate with florals which elevates the centerpiece in height in the middle and is pleasing to the eye. I will modify the use of pipe cleaners to accommodate using 6 inch wide deco mesh as that is what I have and live about 2 1/2 hours away from a store to get 10 inch mesh.
